Like everyone, everything and everywhere: "depends on the person"

I try to like Liara, I even try to like her culture... but the more she spoke in ME3, the more I caught myself thinking about Giorgio A. Tsoukalos.

And then I felt weird in a wrong way.

The theme of next game? Reaper threat is over so asari/turian/krogan/etc can all start to seek dominance over the galaxy? Shepard is flying out there somewhere facepalming.

Considering that they are all stuck on the ravaged Earth, that is exactly what will happen.

OR

As there are only a few thousand people alive, they come to conclusion that they need to stick together. All the races mating each other, which eventually leads into a Master Race.
-Lifespan and attractiveness of Asari
-Smartness of Salarian
-Toughness of Krogan
-Determination of Humans
-Regeneration of Vorchas
-Agility of Drell
-Tentacles of Hanar
-Calmness of Elcor
-Eyes of Batarians
-Consensus of Geth
-Honor of Turians
-Adaptiveness of Quarians

Master race then proceeds to take over the galaxy from the few pure races around galaxy.

I'm hoping that was a joke, because biology does not work that way.

Wrong. I'm sorry, but *direct* mind rape? Entirely different order of violation than forcing your genitals into contact with someone elses. Its the difference between normal ordinance and a nuclear bomb.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Explain.

You're kidding right? Having an attacker force you down and use you for sexual gratification? That hurts physically and emotionally.

Having an attacker force you down, use you for sexual gratification, and drag up -and make you relive- your worst fears and greatest desires for their own amusement? That's literally the stuff of nightmares...

They're all dead thanks to hundreds of missed shots devastating earth and huge amounts of eezo from destroyed ships mean that everyone start dying. Unless you picked control and have the reapers save everybody

If the original races are not kept, the new race is a complete failure. Unification also needs to preserve what was unified to really work.

It would not be pointless if it ensured human dominance in the galaxy.

Human dominance is ensured forever, unless humanity wipes itself out.

Which, given the sad state of the world, is a lot more likely than ever being able to leave Earth IRL.

It is not ensured in the ME universe. It is very shaky. If wiping out the Asari is necessary to ensure human dominance it should be done.

How does instant synthesis work in biology?

Catalyst kid screwed the universe over. A kid with too much power. He can make magic happen.

It doesn't. It doesn't even work within the internal logic of the MEverse, which is just another reason why the ending is a massive failure.

A massive failure, or a massive oppoturnity?

Massive speculation ensues. "Make up your own continuation"

My ending is just that. A Master race starts to conquer the galaxy when ReaperShep interferes repeating the phrases of Shepard VI and saves the galaxy. Might even make a game in which you are ReaperShep on Galaxy map scanning and chasing members of Master race - featuring high scores and 1 ending. In the ending Harbinger comes to congratulate the player "I am your father, Shepard"

Related to the discussion here: Who thinks Liara... "saved a piece"... if you agree to her "gift of memory"? Did she secretly impregnate herself with Shepard's child, regardless of whether you're in another relationship? Given the nature of Asari reproduction, Shepard wouldn't know the difference unless she chose to announce it.

The current consensus is yes...

I love how you mentioned tentacles as an advantage. It is rare to see a positive attitude to tentacles, outside of japanese entertainment.

OMG! Would be priceless if they just patched the ending so starchild turned into Sandal. That would make so much more sense than the current ending.

"You wanted clarification? There's your clarification. Sandal did some experiments and turned into a ghost boy in some galaxy far far away, accidentally breaking the galaxy"

Would have been great april fools joke for Bioware to make.

As of the time I voted, which is now, the majority is infact believing Liara wouldnt do that.

And rightly so, Liara is not stupid. If the war is won there will be plenty time for such things later, if it is lost Liara will be dead long before childbirth anyways.

Blasto disagrees. Also, what else could it be? Jelly form? The caring of other species who can be turned into willing slaves/assassins? Pink color?

34% is not a majority. The rest think she would do it, they just react in different ways.

I think the idea there was that she would try to save a piece of Shepard, in the event that Shepard wasn't going to survive.

It would have been quite interesting, but no. I have been paragon in most of my playthroughs. I got a femshep that is renegade though, 'cus Jen is just better that way.

Cerberus is my kind of people (Their base principles are right), but sometimes I like to just turn my brain off and go for a goofy happy story.

There is sheer evidence against that "Asari look like just how every species wants them to look like".

For instance, if you play a Krogan in ME3 Multiplayer, Asari still look like "humans".

Yes. Also imagine the laws of physics being broken while pashing an Elcor sized thing while seeing a human sized thing. Maybe all Bioware meant was that "Asari can come in Red, Green or Blue"

Additionally, Asari on videos and Asari-VIs (Avina) do not look different, so that line from ME2 is about pheromones fitting for every species, nothing else.
