This is a request for the armor seen in the sacred ashes trailer (among others) and on the side of the site to be added into the game for us to enjoy. If you want this too, please post here to let the devs know this is something the community wants! Thank you

I don't have Screenshots of it, but the armor Morrigan and Leliana are unique too and would also be great additions to the game. I'd also ask for Duncans armor, but that's been asked for many, many times. I think new models would be a much better purchase than retextured existing models.

why are the CGI leliana, morrigan, and sten not remotely like the game's counter parts? They look like completely different people. Sten looks a good 30 years younger and more bad ass less pain in the ass.

There is a mod for the PC version that tries to make them look closer to the Trailer version, I use it and like it for what it does, until someone makes something better.

This mod (one above) does give Sten a white goatee too... though not a cornrows one since theres no model for that (yet).

But on-topic.. if you want these armors, please post, I'd really like to get the community vocal about this in the hopes of seeing it in a future DLC or expansion!

The sacred ashes trailer was the best, I drooled so much on the armor stuff and hoped that someday a very gifted modeler can come up with it together with his sword. /sigh

That would be awesome. I wanted to have THAT character in the trailer as my main character in-game, but the presets didn't have him and I doubt I would have the patience to go through every facial trait to finally get something that looks like him.



Btw Bioware, the Sacred Ashes trailer was awesome. It's easily my favorite trailer this year. I'd watch an entire movie like this *hint* *hint*

I was under the impression they were a seperate party all together. Someone who went ahead of you and never found the ashes.

It was probably part of the concept art after all (even if Bioware did not make the trailer). There is nothing wrong in asking anyway.

I would certainly like having the opportunity to buy a DLC that would include these items.

I like Sten's sword from the trailer too. Its two handed and not 6 feet long, nor has a hilt made for an Ogre.



The Warden armor really is awesome tho, and if they can make that helmet from that goes with it from the picture... it would be even better. All they really need to do is make the model and patch the Warden Commander armor to look like it and find a suitable helmet (say Honnelith* one)

I think the Qunari Sword looks pretty close to the trailer model, not exact, but much much closer to any thing else in the trailer.

From now on when they have trailers made for their games BioWare should make sure that actual in game models are used so as to avoid this sort of lust.

the sacred ashes trailer made me realize how amazingly epic a DA movie would be. (only if it was cg though)

I'll put in a voice too.

I like the armor that was shown in the wardens keep video and the sacred ashes video a lot more then what I see in the game.

I've also got to say that the huge shoulders peices thing on the heavy armors, strikes me as a little weird. Specifically the Heavy Plate armor shoulder pads (the heavy chain-mail armor is okay in my book). and there variations such as Juggernaut armor and warden armor (nothing like armor in the video).

Also, the Blood Dragon Plate (which is similar to the Dwarven Legion of the Dead plate in appearance) I think makes you look fat and chubby.So, Yeah, I'd like to see some updates to armor.You know come to think of it, the Heavy Chain-mail is a bit bulky as well isn't it? Antyhing more then light armor/mediam armor really just seems to bulky. While probably more accurate to real armor it just doesn't look good.
