I have the retail pc version of Mass Effect 1
I have both DLC installed (So my version of the game is 1.02)

and my pc has:

A Hextacore Intel® Core™ i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz
8 GB of RAM
A EVGA NVidia GeForce GTX 570 HD with 1280MB VRAM with the 296.10 Driver
A Corsair Vengeance 1500 Headset with version 1.1 drivers (So no soundcard)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with Service Pack 1 installed
DirectX 11 installed

I have played up to the point where you get the Normandy and so far I am experiencing an unsmooth transition between facial animations during dialogue, between when a character finishes a sentence and begins a new one.

So when a character ends a sentence and starts a new one, sometimes his or her face leaps to a new position.
This is only a small leap and always happens at the end of a sentence.
The strange thing is that when i reselect a reaction in the dialogue wheel, this leaping of facial animations takes place at the same location in the sentence as the previous leap.
This is the only problem I encounter. The rest of the game plays perfect
(No freezes, low fps, stuttering or other problems)

I play the game at:
1920 x 1080 resolution
High Particle Effects
Ultra High Texture Detail
Anisotropic Filtering Mode
V-Sync enabled
Full screen
No Dynamic Shadows
No Motion Blur
No Film grain
And Audio is set to Software

I have changed nothing in BioEngine.ini and I already tried reinstalling the game.

Please, any help is welcome.

The game is old, and nVIDIA's current drivers simply are no longer properly compatible with it.
