So I'm the only person that dreams s/he is a squad member, cryogenically frozen from 2015, and is a LI for Shepard?

Nope, although in my case instead of Shepard, I've got Admiral Xen as an LI (C'mon, I'm not the only one who likes Xen)

i love Admiral Tali does that count?

In your case, yes

Nope you aren't the only one. I've had a similar dream. My dream was a very lucid dream where I was aboard the Normandy during the events of Mass Effect 2. By lucid I mean I was in full control of the dream, I could walk around freely like I was awake, etc. http://en.wikipedia....iki/Lucid_dream

I'm not going to go over the entire dream as it was two days long(dream time not real time). I talked to Joker, Shepard, Tali, Garrus and Edi. I saw everyone else but I they were glaring at me so I kept my distance. Since my Shepard is supposed to me, the Shepard in this dream was in a coma. The explaination being I was his soul and I somehow got seperated from his body. Tali was a emotional wreck due to her father's death, being exiled, and now her boyfriend was in a coma. I admired from a far, I really wanted to go up and hug her and tell her I am Shepard but I resisted the urge since she probably wouldn't believe me and she had a shotgun. She then looked over at me and said, "I can't believe it, Shepard is nearly dead and I still don't even know his name." This is where I couldn't resist. I said, "It's Mike..." She then asked how did I know that. I said because I am Shepard. She didn't believe at first but then I explained some things that happened that only her and Shepard knew.

I won't detail much more, but she did then believed me and she hugged me. Boy was she strong, she nearly squeezed the life out of me. After that, we set out on a mission to figure out how to combine me with the comatose shepard. We found some prothean device on Mars and used it. I then combined with the Shepard. Then I woke up in real life. Best dream I ever had, It was really realistic, I can remember the cold touch of the metal in the Normandy and the smell of Grunt's terrible body odor.

Yeah, lucid dreaming is one hell of thing, but somewhat hard to manage, have only got like 4 of them in my life.

This one was my third, happened last night. Wrote it down as soon as I got up, 5 pages. I might write it on a fan fiction site. The conversations I had with Garrus and Joker were hilarious and didn't break canon. I loved how most of the characters were suspicious about my presence since I seemed to know everyone about them. Legion and EDI detected that I was somehow related to Shepard and that I wasn't from their world.

That must've sucked. Was this before or after you beat ME3? I don't know how anyone could take the reapers seriously after the ending.

I have had dreams of Asari-Hanar action in the past. It is still fresh in my mind to this day.

I've had a few dreams about Mass Effect, not about the LI though. That's how good this series was, until the ending.

I still haven't had a dream about Mass Effect, despite being on these forums and waiting over a year for it. Why do you guys get to tour the Normandy and be with your LI? I want to do that to!

I've been having inappropriate dreams about Yvonne Strahovski for a while now, so I can't really fault you for it. At least the object of your desires is based on a living breathing human being's appearance >.>

The same cannot be said of the Talimancers of the world.

Anyway my dream is of me and Tali on Rannoch building her house, and when we finish the house, we end up "Christening" the house and 9 months later..... we have a child (When I was bought back to life it gave me the ability to impregnate ANYONE including aliens)

LOL.

The last dream I remember was nigh on twelve years ago. And I dreamt I was sweeping the kitchen floor.

If I dream, then I sure as hell wouldn't want it to be about a video game.

I had dreams that had nothing to do with ME but I still had the red grenade symbol at the bottom of my view in the dream.

I had a dream where Tali and Liara had to go into the Witness Protection Programme and live with Zoidberg.

Funnily enough, it wasn't very romantic.

wow, if I wrote something like this and my RL friends saw what i'd wrote I think i might just die

or at the very least be considered a weirdo by the people I hang around with

i mean they even found it a bit weird when i'd been playing gears, had been shouting at idiots using a sawed-off against me and then I told them about a dream I had where i was being some super badass killing an entire enemy team and then i was running and some bloke with a sawed-off blasted me

you know what, f*ck it, I don't ever want to dream about games if it just involves me re-enacting rageworthy moments in my head :(

It isn't like it is weird or makes anyone a freak to think a character in a video game is hot, same goes for if they wind up having a sexual dream about them. Of course, dreaming about living with them or having a family is a bit odd since it shows they're having too much of an emotional attachment to that character.

last night a had a dream that me and my LI (miranda) were living together with a family in a nice house
I don't want to say to much details but  ... im the only one? or are more people having dreams about him/her with their LI

it might just be that this game did a good job on that, or just that i dont know any girls in real life :S

Sorry, but where did you get a family? Did you adopt? She can't have children.
I guess that kind of suggests the dream was genuine, I mean they're not supposed to be factually correct.

Nope. Way too stressed IRL though I wish I was having ME-related dreams like you folks.
Instead, I get some pretty meta stuff going on in my sleep. No Miranda, thank god!

Curious, what is wrong about having a fantasy with video game characters? If said person isn't hurting anyone, what is the problem?

If they are a perfectly functional human being that , yet they just have dreams and day dreams about fictional characters, how is this an issue?

I guess the line comes between day dreams and a full blown out obsession.

I'm not sure where you're extrapolating that I said anything to the contrary. Though I personally have never found a video game character attractive. My point is, I wouldn't want to dream about a video game.

If I woke up one day after over a decade of dreamless sleep just to remember I dreamt about Mass Effect, I would feel exceptionally cheated.

There's nothing really wrong with it. Dreams represent the intellects attempts to run scenarios before the consciousness. I can suspect that someone who didn't like a fictional character may end up dreaming about them as a sort of intellects' way of checking options.

It is if you wake up and decide that the intellect was being very reasonable that you should be worried. Being indoctrinated by a video game is a quick way to deteriorate higher brain functioning, which will inevitably lead to all sorts of horrible consequences.

I wouldn't. Its a perfect fantasy world to dream yourself into. Only other thing I'd rather dream about is me as a Super Saiyan flying around earth and firing energy out of my hands.
