Not an April Fools joke (atleast not on my part, who knows what Amazon is doing) but they currently aren't selling ME3 due to customer(s) complaints.

"Item Under Review

This product is not currently offered by Amazon.co.uk because a customer recently told us that the item he or she received was not as described.

We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may still find this product available from other sellers on this page."

And for those bringing up or wondering about the email Amazon has been sending out, here is the quote:

"Hi,

Customers who have shown an interest in "Mass Effect 3" might like to know what critics have to say about the new title: "One of the most intricately crafted stories in the history of the medium." --GameInformer and "'Epic space battles, immense ground conflicts and hard hitting drama." --MSNBC."

It is then followed by the current prices for ME3 on various platforms.

Wow, people are .... so blind and really immature about this whole ordeal. I'm baffled by people's stupidity when it comes to this. It's beyond anyones wildest comprehension.

CoolKid12. You've earned yourself a report. If you think it's justified to downgrade a product to this state, because you feel unsatisfied about the ending you recieved, which you probably for starters didn't comprehend, is just ridicilous. I suppose you go on about just everything in your life, giving it all 1/10 because you feel that the product was "poor", when there was just one nitpicky piece in reality.

Please, what's wrong with people when it comes to Mass Effect 3?

Don't worry! BioWare planned for this! They knew this would happen, but were willing to risk it anyways to troll everyone!

Amazon.com sent me an email last night letting me know how greatly received Mass Effect was.... I've never seen them do that for a product. The whole email was just pictures of ME3 with quotes from the likes of IGN and Gamespot at the top.

I laughed and deleted it

I beg your pardon my good sir, but the meaning of your claim escapes the grasp of my limited comprehension.

yeah, amazon keeps sending me emails trying to sell me Mass Effect 3 and talking about how great it is. Methinks Amazon has large amounts of this game in stock that aren't selling.

OMG the silliness in this thread.

It's not Mass Effect being held it's only the product from this particular seller. You can still buy it from any other seller or Amazon themselves.

Prolly some guy got an opened CD or something like that and complained.

Cheesh...

BioWare was gleeful about selling their art to us; fans are just returning the, uh...glee?

No image spam, please.

Also, if you think someone is trolling, report them. Otherwise, ignore them and stay on topic.

Thanks,

RI

The real question, have you ever seen the creators of a tv show/movie/game take such glee in lying to and then making fun of their fanbase?

this makes more sense. Cause amazon gets spammed with reviews bombs all the time and don't usually hold things just because of that.
