Well because of the blatant lies Bioware told us prior to release, the product wasn't as described. I'm glad Amazon is doing this, it sends a loud message. Kudos to them.

Duh. What do you expect. Make a crap ending and this is what you get. EA-Bioware thought they could do an April fools on us at the end of the game and then fool us again with there biggest fool Casey "jester" hudsen.

I got a refund through Amazon by telling them the game was not what had been promoted leading up to release. They didn't shut down sales. Like folks have said, this is probably a guy selling resealed used games as new or something.
I don't think that interpretation is right. I think it's amazon.uk.co that's not selling the product. You can buy it from all those other stores that list through the amazon market. If you list through all the sources for an item you usually see "Amazon" as a seller. If you browse all sellers in the Amazon UK, you'll see only 3rd party sellers.
Look at the product listings at Amazon USA and Canada:
www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/B0055442IM/ref=dp_olp_new
www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004FYEZMQ/ref=dp_olp_new
versus the listing in the UK :
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B004T8C3NG/sr=/qid=/ref=olp_tab_new
It could be that there's a legal requirement under UK consumer protection laws to do an investigation of the issue if there are complaints about a product not meeting what was promised in the advertising.

Something that struck me as weird looking at the listings, is the difference in price bewteen all 3 versions:
360 £29.99[/b]
PS3 £23.95[/b]
PC £21.85[/b]
Is there normally this big of price difference between the 3?
And please remember, KEEP IT CIVIL!

It would be a shame if the "Vocal Minority" put a company out of business. If anything EA is more then likely to do that themselves.
It's a shame these big kids don't understand. Now, you can say bye bye to choices, multiple endings, and other things in the future if this is how you people act. You think anyone will want to go through all this drama over giving a consumer more freedom? not worth it.
Whether you hurt Bioware or not with your 'movement' you actually hurt yourselves the most in the end.
The real truth is simple. The consumer here will not be Hurt as you say. When a company, any company fails to deliver a product that is reliable. Or fails to repair a product as necessary to keep customers happy with said product then they go out of business. Then oddly enough other companies Pop up to fill the void. Ones hungry enough to want to deliver a product that makes the consumer happy. Its an ongoing cycle of supply and demand. NO ones world will not end if BW ends as a company or morphs into a different kind of company. The Gamers here are Not Hurting themselves. What is happing is that a message is going out that will be inturpreted many ways. ONE of those messages ( among many ) is that there is a true fan base for real meaty RPG's of substance. Another is Don't betray your fan base while you try to deleveop a new fan base or develope a new kind of product.
I am sure that there are many future/exsisting/or up and coming gaming companies out there just looking to fill the shoes that that BW has aparently abandoned. That is the nature of supply and demand in a free market society.
Yes my spelling is junk- get over it, LOL

You want to hurt Bioware, fine. But don't expect the ending to be fixed anytime soon or another entry in the series.

People are just trying to get their money back. They have no attachmant to the game for whatever reason, so they don't want to keep it. They're trying to get as much money back for as they can.

Not an April Fools joke (atleast not on my part, who knows what Amazon is doing) but they currently aren't selling ME3 due to customer(s) complaints.
"Item Under Review
This product is not currently offered by Amazon.co.uk because a customer recently told us that the item he or she received was not as described.
We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may still find this product available from other sellers on this page."
And for those bringing up or wondering about the email Amazon has been sending out, here is the quote:
"Hi,
Customers who have shown an interest in "Mass Effect 3" might like to know what critics have to say about the new title: "One of the most intricately crafted stories in the history of the medium." --GameInformer and "'Epic space battles, immense ground conflicts and hard hitting drama." --MSNBC."
It is then followed by the current prices for ME3 on various platforms.
