Perspective: Wanting to strip people of their livelihoods because their game featured ten minutes of bad writing, which came after 100+ hours of good writing.

I think the issue that should be under review is the fact that you cannot access all of the single player content in single player and have to either play MP or own an iphone...the fact that NO WHERE on the game box does it say some of the SP content is not available without having an internet connection, an xbox live gold account and or an iphone...that is 100% false advertising...

hey Bioware

how's your art? are you speculating yet if it was a good idea to end the game with a giant middle finger to the fans or not?

oh I'm sorry...not ready to say anything yet aside for "we are going to adress that....now tell us what you liked about the game"?

In other words you just want to burn the house down out of spite. At least you're being honest about it, and I can respect that.

But with that said, "future DLC and support" is not exclusive of ending fix DLC (free or paid) or future bugfix and content patches. I urge to you consider that before building straw men.

While I understand your approach, people have reached a point of muddled desperation and frustration, to the extent many have resigned to the very fact if BioWare does not specifically address the endings soon, they would indeed pull Mass Effect into the fire with them. My personally stance is if they attempt scapegoat at PAX then they made their bed and can lie in it. What becomes of the Mass Effect or the company itself afterwards is not my concern.

Patience can only be held so long. This Amazon thing though does mean the pressure is mounting. So much for the supposed "vocal minority" argument.

Is there such a thing as going too far in your book? If so, what is it?

Depends on your definition. If the endings are not addressed properly, then I, and anyone else, have a right to exercise our complaints and/or abandon BioWare entirely. If they falter in the long haul, so be it. When businesses stray from their customer base, they risk backlash. Do I want BioWare to shutdown, no but I am not going to simply accept whatever they throw at me either.

Those actions are perfectly fine. Actions that go far beyond that, I'm less sure.

Wow, people are .... so blind and really immature about this whole ordeal. I'm baffled by people's stupidity when it comes to this. It's beyond anyones wildest comprehension.

Sir, there are alot of things to not comprehend here, but our reaction is not one of them.

Disgusting accusation.  Consumer not responsible for livelihood of manufacturer.

If manufacture substandard product, must deal with consequences.

........and couldn't be bothered to fix said 10 minutes, but could be bothered to try and brainwash us into liking said bad writing with multiple PR statements.

I for one, and I suspect I'm not alone, would be a lot less angry if they just admitted they didn't wanna change anything instead of this PR crap.

They are not poor. They can rebuild and learn from the experience. Casey will still have his jet.

Customer entitled to complain, boycott. Not entitled to sabotage. Review bombing =/= feedback.

Customers have been complaining, boycotting. Not sabotaging.

Frustrated because your favorite company is suffering consequences of actions.

You do realize that Casey isn't the only employee of BioWare right? You do realize that this game was designed by a team of programmers right? You do realize that these programmers aren't rich right?

I also encourage people to let Amazon .com and .ca to know about the misleading (false) advertising behind this product.

Nah, I just want to help stop companies from releasing unfinished games that end with an ad for DLC (yes the actual ending was the advertisement).

For anyone who thinks this is too much, you realize this is how you get their attention?

We can plead and plead but at the end of the day their sales being affected is going to garner the most notice.

Whether or not there is "something" being announced in April is irrelevant. This is an ongoing issue.

You don't just make false promises and claim your customers simply don't understand your work... this seems excessive, but effective.
