Please is it that hard to keep civil, really? Come on guys/gals. This is not an April Fools, I didn't even realize it was April till now.
Ok so Bioware is making a new ending, that's fine, everyone deserves their special ending. All I am saying is its great the way it is, no need to change anything that is perfect. Like I said add onto it and explain more but to change the ending would be a sad thing.
I will not respond to any individual comments. If its too hard for you to deal with this thread then you have bigger problems and should go resolve those, by responding in a way that shows any downing or bashing all your doing is showing that you cannot be civil. I have my right just as much as you do to state my opinion but I choose to do it in a nice way. Again thank you Bioware for the perfect ending. Obviously they were happy with it otherwise they wouldn't have released it.
Say what you want but saying it in a rude way is not the right way. I may have done this before but after thinking about everything I see it goes nowhere. I chose to take a different path on this subject. Please take that path with me. If your angry then your angry, it's time to put it past you, your getting your ending so what is the problem, it should be over. Bioware listened and they showed they care. Stop the hate and appreciate. They didn't put out this new code of conduct because everyone is all nice and butterflies, they put it out for a reason and we should respect that. Regardless if you dislike it like the ending or the whole game just never forget all the great memories Bioware has given us.
We are THE Shepard.
Petition: Keep the ending. (no spoilers please)

I respect your opinion, and I hold nothing against you for liking the game. However the ending was, in fact, terrible and left almost all long-time Mass Effect fans feeling cheated and angry. Also, what about "Take Earth Back???" I had no idea that was comprised of a 40-minute horde mode next to a truck. Yeah, that really drove the whole marketing statement "Take Earth Back" home, guys. /sarcasm
BioWare deserves all the heat they are getting, and more. I will make no apologies for the well-deserved negative feedback that they have been recieving. Next time, BioWare, don't let the very foundation of your marketing campaign be a bed of lies and false promises.
Though, there won't be a next time between you and me, BioWare. We're done. I'll take your "revised" ending, which will more than likely do nothing but leave more diappointment (though I will not pay for it, if that's the case, take that ending DLC and shove it), but I will never trust this shoddy business with my money or time ever again. You guys had your chance to redeem yourselves after the crap that DAII was, but instead you murdered Mass Effect for the casual crowd to make a quick buck.
I'm still here because I want to see just how you guys are going to try to dig yourselves out of the hole you've dug yourselves into. How many more lies and condescending remarks will you boys make? How many more promises are you going to make, only to completely do the opposite (Hey, Casey, remember your statement about "No ABC endings?" We remember!).

Uhh, if you wanna keep the ending, don't buy the dlc. It's as simple as that.
The fact that any of you are going to give Bioware/EA more money after complaing about DA2, ME2 and now ME3 is.....well, theres plenty of negative words to describe it.

I think all that's been proved with this thread is that people are perfectly willing to start multiple threads about hating the ending, but aren't prepared to let a single thread for people who liked it to pass by without wrecking it.
Tell me again why you people think you deserve anything from Bioware?
Who said deserve? I deserve nothing. I want a new ending and Bioware is aware that there is a market for such a thing.

Hmm can't register mine either, only ME3. Why do people base their opinions off of if your registered and how long you've been signed up. You could be the first person that ever played ME for we all know. It just makes people look like they have nothing better to reply with. P

Your post did not. In fact I wish they we all like yours. I thank you for that. May you get the ending you want and may you have only the best memories and experience from it. Thanks again for keeping
it cool, that's all we ever asked for.

@METALPUNKS - thanks for trying to take a positive approach. I'll admit that I'm one of the many fans that didn't love the ending, but I fully respect you putting forward a different opinion from the many other threads on the board. As you say, if people have a different opinion, there's no lack of other threads for them to post in.
And I love your comment: "stop the hate and appreciate." I still love this series, regardless of the ending, so I'll also take this moment to say Thank You Bioware.

Stop showing that you can't deal with someone who likes the ending and start showing you are happy for us just as much as we are for you that your getting the ending you asked for, not the ending you deserve, nobody deserves anything because Bioware doesn't deserve to be thrown under the bus for something they thought you would all love. They never intentionally made you angry. Do you really believe they say there after 5 long years of making great games and said "you know what lets end this so all our fans that we love hate us" no I'm sure they didn't and I'm even more sure they didn't want to lose ONE fan nevermind millions. We matter they have always showed us that. Bethesda may be the greatest rpg makers and Id software may be the best FPS makers(in the past) but Bioware are the best story tellers of this generation and more to come.
I really appreciate you being civil here, even though I don't share your opinion on the ending. I'm glad that you liked it because I don't wish the disappointment I have been going through on anyone and I agree that Bioware is a great company and doesn't deserve vicious hate. However, I will say that you should have probably named this threat differently if you wanted to avoid backlash. I mean, thanks for being happy for us that we're possibly getting a new ending (nothing set in stone, but here's hoping), but petitioning against ending change in the title? Sends a different message and is quite frankly unfortunate.

While a cheap shot since I'm also unable to register my copy, it's an extent of Bioware's reasoning for why they don't let unregistered users post in the spoiler forums.

Ending still bad. Pro enders still refuse to allow Retakers to have the same rights as them. (i.e. get the ME ending we wanted).

This is a spoiler free zone. We are not discussing any details of the ending. All we want to do is tell Bioware thank you and to keep the ending. Adding onto the ending so we can play more of out favorite game is okay but to change it would be a shame. Please comment if your want to say thank you to the Bioware team and if you are satified with ME3 from start to finish. Also please no rude comments or troll calling, the people who hate the ending have plenty of their own threads and a petition. This is simply to show support to out favorite I hard working team. Any of the rude comments will not even be replied to. Show that we can be civil and show your support for Bioware.
There is no need for discussion, it's already very clear how people feel. Nobody needs to defend themselves in here. If you do decide to be nasty it will just show us you can't talk amongst friends in a civil way. I have said my peace and have been angry but now is not the time. It's not about that anymore, it's only but letting Bioware know their work is perfect the way it is. If you can't be nice then that's on you and you are the only one that has to deal with that. This is especially do after the new code of conduct rules that have been applied.
So let's show Bioware we care and that what they did for the entire game, including the end was loved by us. It's brilliance at its best.
Thank you Bioware for making my life a little less hectic by making me a part of the universe you have created. I will never forget the memories and the characters you have made for me. It's been a fun ride and it has been a honor being part of that from beggining to end. Hats off.
Bait, wee!

Nobody deserves to play a game for 5 years and feel left hanging the end, nobody. You all have a right to unanswered questions and an ending that you can walk away from happy. I just would like to see that in a way that lets Bioware keep there dignity and there fans because if the ending gets changed from top to bottom then they make the fans that enjoyed it angry. Then there is the debate of what ending is better and honestly we don't need anymore of that. Just as much as you I want more Mass Effect. I don't care how I get it, I would like to see it in a way that makes everyone happy.
I got the ending, I've explained why before. I didn't get it because I'm smarter than you or because I have more of an artistic edge because I'm not. I got it because I just felt it and it worked for me. That is it. The very few of us that did get satisfaction from it no exactly what I'm talking about. Soon you will get to have that same feeling and let me tell you it's awesome, you'll see. So why must some of you be angry because of that or say we are trolling or because a thread falls on a certain day of the year. Call me simple minded because I got it, call me what you will but never can it take away the fact that I got it, I say this in the nicest way possible. All I know I'm excited to play more Mass Effect, I was thrilled to be a small part of the greatest sci-fi story for a game ever written. Who wouldn't want more time with a favorite characters. Garrus and his smart remarks, EDI(left out for spoilers), Joker and his humor, tali and here determination, jack and her stubbornness, mordin and his singing, liara and her everything(best character for me), and of course Shepard and his/her drive to fight and save all the universe, the list goes on and on. We have all made relationships with these characters and they will forever hold a place in our hearts. That is why I still love Bioware, that is why this game is more than a game, it's a place to go when you get out of school or get home from work or just to take a break from your everyday life, it's a place for our imagination run wild.

Your tread is called "Petition: Keep the ending." that means you do not want a new/alternativ ending made, but you are also happy by the prospect that we might get another ending. So what do you really mean? What is your intention with this tread?
