Read my post that is two above yours. It's explains all that. If I wasn't doing this from my phone of would explain more, so looking at my last post will be the best option. I will sum up what it says. I want everyone to be happy. I think rewriting the ending is not the best option. Why? Because it takes it away from the people that did like it but even more than that it put Bioware in a hard position. However everyone deserves that special ending so I say keep everything the way it is, the we were intended to see it and just add onto it more, explain what some thought was unexplained. That way everyone wins. We few get to keep our ending, you get your ending and Bioware keeps what they originally wanted people to see. 
 
Above its explained in much better detail. Just take a look at it and you'll see. Just want everyone to be happy. Imagine it like this, you work really hard as kid on an short story you wrote for school and you brigand it
Home to show you mom and dad. They say it's horrible and they force you to change it. You thought you doing good by them and you were excited to show them but in the end it just wasn't good enough. I know it's no where the exact same with Bioware, mom and dad are supposed to love what you do. So I think we should at least take a step back and really try to understand what they were trying to do instead of protesting against them and demanding a knew ending. Let them have time to make it up to you.let them keep what they thought was a great ending and add onto that. The never intended to upset anyone. They are probably taken back by all this, give them time.

I personally find it very difficult to believe anyone really "liked" the ending, and the fact that it's April 1st just causes me to be even more suspicious... I don't trust anything on this day. But, even so...

If you have no problem with the current ending, why would you object to additional options being added? Are you so satisfied with the existing game that you really want to oppose adding content? I just don't understand it, especially since this is EA we're talking about - chances are, it won't be free. But if you're happy with what you already got, you don't "need" to buy it... you're actually getting the better part of this deal, as, DLC or not, you don't care - you already got what you want. But that said, why would you oppose letting others have the choice of getting what they want, too?

Yea i think we are more or less on the same page here. Going ahead and simply making a brand new ending might be a really bad idea for several reasons, making a post ending dlc is imo the only way to go, but i also feel that this is something that needs to be done. And then there is all this dream theory thingy.. no need to bring all that up here, but if that were true, then that means the ending was incomplete, either way. All new ending - No Post-ending DLC - oh yes

I think they can keep the ending just fine too, while adding new ones, as long as I never have to see the current one again.

Whether they retcon the whole bloody mess (I find this highly unlikely).
Or some kind of tomfoolery is present (i.e. It is a fake or nonending-IT theory what have you)
They combine the two
Or just try to 'clarify' things by filling in all the inconsistencies (probably do as much harm as good)

Whatever the heck they do, I am of the opinion they at the very least keep, or have the option to play through ME3 as shipped. Or at least as far as the ending is concerned.

Just to be clear-I do not like how the product, as shipped non-ended. And the reasoning for at least having the option to play the (Director's Cut) or whatever will be dependent on what they hell they do with it from here, and would take to long to go into every variability. (Wall-o-text)

I don't know if that is technically in support of your petition or not-but that's my thoughts on it.

Look back at my posts. It's almost as though you didn't even look at them. It's like you just clicked on this thread and wrote whatever the heck you wanted. I said I wouldn't reply and fall into the trap of individual comments but I just could not bring myself to look past this. All I've ever said is you deserve your ending, my point was let Bioware keep the ending that they made, they were proud of it and some of us love it. You can have yours but not by totally erasing the old one, just by adding onto current one. They are going to have to be clever about it but that shouldn't be a problem for Bioware they have amazing writers. So how is that opposing your ending, it's far from it. Please next time read a little before making a comment, or not but it only makes you look bad.

Threads are being locked all over the forums as we speak. With the new code of conduct and the
locked threads I really think Bioware is getting tired of it. There is no need for it. Soon people
are going to start getting band, how will that make you feel knowing you can never come back here
and post. Support the people that gave us so many awesome memories, support Bioware, I assure they are listening. Give them time. They must really love their fans because I know most companies wouldn't do half of what they have done for you.

And for anyone else, it's a shame really. We have a plethora of threads where we are taking the ****** on BW, why come in here and try to convince or contradict this guy here?

It was his experience. He experienced it in his own way and it worked for him. I'm pretty sure he has read enough about why lots and lots of people don't like it, there was really no need to hijack his thread and reiterate it yet again.

OP: The ending didn't work for me personally at all, but if it worked for you, I'm happy for you (and a little jealous, wish I could have made it work for me somehow)

Adding onto the ending so we can play more of out favorite game is okay but to change it would be a shame.   There is no need for discussion, it's already very clear how people feel. Nobody needs to defend themselves in here. If you do decide to be nasty it will just show us you can't talk amongst friends in a civil way. I have said my peace and have been angry but now is not the time. It's not about that anymore, it's only but letting Bioware know their work is perfect the way it is. If you can't be nice then that's on you and you are the only one that has to deal with that. This is especially do after the new code of conduct rules that have been applied. 


  So let's show Bioware we care and that what they did for the entire game, including the end was loved by us. It's brilliance at its best. 

   Thank you Bioware for making my life a little less hectic by making me a part of the universe you have created. I will never forget the memories and the characters you have made for me. It's been a fun ride and it has been a honor being part of that from beggining to end. Hats off.

The endings were fine, their delivery sucked. A last minute appearance be a deus ex machina, followed by a rather confusing chain of events with the normandy, and ended by a massage encouraging us to by DLC... At the very least they should patch out that massage, it's in very bad taste. Only indie developers are entitled to do shameless self promotion in their games.

I will not respond to any individual comments. If its too hard for you to deal with this thread then you have bigger problems and should go resolve those, by responding in a way that shows any downing or bashing all your doing is showing that you cannot be civil. Obviously they were happy with it otherwise they wouldn't have released it.

Say what want but saying it in a rude way is not the right way. I may have done this before but after thinking about everything I see it goes nowhere. I chose to take a different path on this subject. Please take that path with me. If your angry then your angry, it's time to put it past you, your getting your ending so what is the problem, it should be over. Bioware listened and they showed they care. Stop the hate and appreciate. They didn't put out this new code of conduct because everyone is all nice and butterflies, they put it out for a reason and we should respect that. Regardless if you dislike it like the ending or the whole game just never forget all the great memories Bioware has given us.

I just dont understand what is good about the ending. When i played  mass efect 2 I wanted to replay it right away...mass effect 3 not so much.

I do think the words on the back of the game box" Take Earth Back" does mislead many into a false sense of promise or security... no matter which way you look at itThat being said if your happy with the ending then thats all good!!

Hey man thanks! I appreciate the defense. I hope you get your ending soon. 

As for anyone else who posted below him please keep it coming, still all your doing is showing you can't handle talking amongst the communtiy. It's makes me frown that some people can't just be cool with someone who has been nice and civil. It's April 2nd four minutes ago here in California and nope not a joke, sorry no fools here except these foolish posts. I'd watch the comments Bioware is really cracking down on it. I find some of them offensive and that's all it takes. Your not hurting me in the long run, only yourself.
