Depends. if it's an extra hour or two of gameplay, fun gameplay, prefereably with an epic last boss battle, then sure, I might pay, depending on how much the dlc is

If Bioware would ask me to pay for an complete ending, I will stop purchasing any Bioware product. This is the line for me.

ill watch it on youtube and see if its worth my time. if it doesnt clarifiy WTF happens at the end i just have no desire to play it. ME3 to me is already linear and stagnant, i dont need more of the same.

basically if it doesnt make sense of the ending, or is a new ending, theres really no point in having it, or any DLC for that matter. nobody wants to play more unneeded mass effect. with the current ending weve already got 3 games worth of it.

other dlc yes but anything in relation to the endings or lore/plotholes should be free as this was the last in trilogy so the story should be rounded up on main game not dlc, especially for the people that dont have web access.

As someone who has happily thrown my money at them for ten years now...

No. Absolutely not. I will not pay to see what should of been part of the package from the get go. If they ask for any payment to see "clarifying" or even an entirely new ending, they wont see any more of my currency.

In my opinion for them to do so would simply be unethical.

HATE THE ENDING!

Couldn't care less if Bioware changes it or not. Their game. They want to alienate their customers by over-promising and under-delivering, not my place to stop their poor decisions. I vote with my wallet and that doesn't fare well for their future releases.

As for DLC of a new ending, I know how to do a search on youtube. Not feeding that beast.

Not only will I not buy it (pointless anyway I finished ME3 on a Sunday and traded in ME 1+2+3 Monday lunchtime, I'm done with the ME universe), but after ME2, DA2 and ME3's end, I'll probably not buy another BW game again.

Bioware already has my $70 for ME3, I don't plan to give them more to fix a broken ending.

I'll look at any DLC the same way I always do: does it add a useful amount of fun or interesting gameplay? If so, I'll buy it, whether it concerns Earth, Illium, Omega, or something else entirely.

Lair of the Shadowbroker and Legacy (for DA2) were well worth the money I spent on them. Arrival and the thief one for DA2 were not bad.

I have no use for extra weapons, alternate outfits, or anything like that.

I find the games to be a lot of fun to play because the characters are interesting and most of the quests are fun. The storyline of 2 & 3 was pretty weak all along, so the ending didn't matter to me. What mattered to me was resolving the stories of the characters.

The only real problem with the ending is that it tried to undo all the resolution you attained going along. But I don't have a problem just claiming the game ended with the Anderson/Shepard conversation after TIM's death. Just fade to black there would be great.

The number of people willing to pay for an ENDING to a game they all ready own is shocking. It's not like it's added post game, or during game content. People are actually willing to pay for an ending.

smdh. This is why companies feel they can take advantage of their customers.

It's no wonder Capcom suckers so many people into their fighting games' rehashes and shady schemes and that BF3 now offers $60 unlock everything DLC. A damn shame people don't stop to think...

So I'll leave this as well.

I bought a 30+ hour amazing game. I did not like the ending. With that said, if they release a new ending, since fans were SO vocal about the ending, of course I will buy it.

Why? Because I love this series.

Should it be free? Yes for the sake of PR. No for every other reason. You didn't PAY for a specific ending, you paid for the product, and got it, and played through it. It costs them money to make an ending, and frankly, it makes sense to charge for it.

I wouldn't pay for a DLC ending, but for different reasons. I don't use an online connection with my Xbox, so I wouldn't download it for free either. I'd buy an expansion pack in a heartbeat though. I don't care if it costs as much as a regular game.

No. The ending should have been included in the vanilla game. To charge for it would be tacky.

No way in hell would I pay for that. I already paid 80 bucks for this game expecting a complete product. Instead Mass Effect 3 turns out to be an incomplete game without a proper resolution. The "ending" we received was/is, objectively speaking, badly written especially when compared to other parts of the game (Tuchanka, Rannoch...etc). The ending is broken and it needs to be fixed/replaced to be enjoyed as it was advertised, free of charge.

If Bioware want's to hide behind "artist integrity" as a reason to produce these games, then they should act like responsible "artists" and correct what is clearly an atrociously written ending. I draw as a hobby and take commissions regularly. If a commissioner is unhappy with my art, then I will always change it FOR FREE to better meet their expectations.

I expect Bioware to do the same.

However, I also expect Bioware to do whatever the hell they feel like... even if the majority of players are extremely disappointed in the endings. They are under no obligation to correct anything... Or if they do correct the endings, they certainly aren't obligated to make it free... it'll just mean that they will loose the majority of their fanbase and will most likely do very poorly with any other DLC that they release.

I'll buy any DLC they come out with, but I honestly hope it isn't a new ending, since I actually like the original one. I'd be much happier with DLC that adds new content.
