Hey guys...hopefully someone can help me.
I have been running through hoops to get the tool kit to work. I've had my comp screwed with restarts because I was lazy, and didn't read the forums.
Got that fixed, got SP3, installed, still nothing.
Did everything found here:
http://social.biowar...se_installation
Still nothing.
I get the error, CANNOT FIND DATABASE when I try to run the program, even after having run the ConfigureToolset multiple times...
Any help would be wonderfull.
Can not get this fragging thing to work...

Did you uninstall the toolset (with the clear SQL database option) instead of just repairing it like the MULTITUDE of other posts on the forums suggest?
Did you then clean your machine of all things SQL related before attempting to reinstall the toolset?
Did you try manually installing SQL into said clean environment before installing the toolset?

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
And no to your 2nd question. I bought it retail.

Well, unfortunately, there ends my list of helpful suggestions short of trying to install manually SQL 2008 instead of 2005. There have been a couple folks where that seemed to work?

Yes I'm trying a bunch of threads as we speak.
I just find this whole thing a mess.
I understand this is computers, and this can and does happen. Just sucks really. For people like me who have no clue about computers, yet bought the game because of this feature and the promise of the "ease", its a huge let-down.
Here's to it working 100% someday!

just be prepared...they didn't promise "ease" this time around.
They promised powerful. The toolset isn't even remotely close to NWN's toolset in terms of ease of use. It's VERY complicated (even beyond the setup process).
If/when you get it up and running, I HIGHLY suggest thoroughly going over the wiki and such before actually tinkering. It's not a piece of software that's intuitive to just go in and start messing around with it.

There was a toolset tutorial released a few days ago. Don't have the link at hand but you may find it on our blog ... Might help as well.

Thanks for this...but this has nothing to do with fixing the program to even start.

So should I just wait this out do you think?
Spending way too much time trying to find a work around ha ha. If your telling me you guys are working out a release that could potentially fix and solve my problem, you made my night.
