And don't throw that "we have to sell DLC" on your customers faces, BW. Bethesda has already shown you how it's done.

By golly, you're right! We should keep throwing money at the company no matter how many times they disappoint! Otherwise they might feel obliged to try harder or tone it down on day 1 DLC, and we wouldn't want that to happen!Veggiesofmanycolors wrote...
Bioware is working so hard on the game and it may very well be a great game but thanks to Mass Effect 3's failure it may fail anyways.
We should be willing to give Bioware a chance. Just because Mass Effect 3 sucked does not mean we should take it out on Dragon Age III, it might be what redeems Bioware afterall since we now all know for certain that the indoctrination theory is a load of crap.

Hmm, I forgot to mention "LACK OF MODDING TOOLS" on my DA2 hate list. It is actually quite significant if you look at the amount of free content that is available for DA:O just because it has modding tools. This is also one of the things that made Bioware's Neverwinter Nights great in its days.

I lol'd hard when despite the lack of a modkit, someone made a mod that gave weapons almost identical to those overpriced nonsense packs, only with improved HD textures.
That's probably why even SP mods will get you banned from Origin this time around.

I fail to see why people people think DA2 was a failure.
The only issue I had with it was the fact that they reused a lot of the same area's over and over, but willing to over look for the rest of the content.
Sure it didn't live up to the excitement of DA:O, but sequels very rarely do.
If anything, the only other issue I have is they should have dealt more with the darkspawn.
However the whole Mage Vs. Chantry thing was cool too. (Granted I only ever played as a mage, maybe less cool if playing as other class?)
I don't think DA2 was a failure.
I mean the story wasn't great - rather dull for a fantasy game and story was ultimately guided by outside player choice (anders, meredith, arashock), but the big issue with DA2 was lack of areas.
ME3 is good until the last 10 minutes.
I will probably get DA3, but will wait for user reviews and fan outcry first.

This, I will simply wait for weeks and see what user reviews say about the game.

Aye, they were both better than I anticipated.
I expected a lot from DA2, and though that steadily dropped as more info was leaked and the demo became available, it still fell short.

I'll see the reviews and might get it later, with a price drop. Shame though, before DA2 and ME3 Bioware games were instant Day 1 buys.

Then again I'm more than likely to wait a few months and buy it, just in case we get another DA2 or ME3.

I bought DA2 the day it came out, this time around I'm gonna wait a month a see what everyone on here thinks before i decide to buy it.
Yeh, I can see it one week after launch the forums chock full of rage when DA3 reveals that Morrigans child was the starchild and leading the fifth blight is Harbinger,
and the ending is full of specu........................................ASSUMING CONTROL
Dragon Age 3 will be a worthy successor to the legacy of stellar story telling Bioware is famous for, reflected in the 10/10 reviews we will be receiving from the gaming press.

first, ME3 was not a failure. it sold well and it got high praise from review sites. secondly, DA2 is a different team and in some ways different fans.
