Wow I feel like I'm one of the few that actually enjoyed DA2, only complaints were the recycled areas and the ending (though not nearly as disapointing as ME3). Compared to Origins I thought the combat was much more improved, the companions were great, and the story wasn't bad either.

Back on topic though no I don't feel bad for DA3 because I'll probably enjoy it since I loved the first two games and I'm pretty sure they won't restrict the game to just one city

Ive still not played DA2 because of all the negative reviews and comments. I figure I can wait for DA3 to hit the bargain bins. Im in no rush to give EA/Bioware any cash after ME3.

I'll wait and see what happens with ME3's ending, but hopefully the Dragon Age team has learned a thing or two from the second iteration of the game, as well as the recent ME3 debacle. DA:O is still one of my favorite games, so if they can capture some of that magic back I'll probably pick it up once the 'Full DLC Edition' comes out.

Again, I'll wait and see if Bioware ends up on my boycott list or not before deciding either way.

I most likely will still get DA3, but I will not pre-order it. Gonna wait to see what the fan reviews, not the gaming mags/sights reviews, have to say about it.

I decided to abandon the Dragon Age series after DAII, ME3 only served to cement my decision.

I won't be preording it or listening to the larger gaming websites reviews on it. In fact I might buy it pre-owned.

I didnt like DA2 as much as DA, but i still enjoyed it very much because i love the story, the lore, and the medieval fantasy setting. It felt like watching an animated sequel of a live actors movie.
I still look foward to DA3 though, even with the ME3 ending disaster.

I'll wait and see what people say before I decide to buy it. I owned DAO and DA Awakenings but skipped DA2 and ME3 will be my last preorder from Bioware/EA.

I'm going to wait for reviews to come out before I even consider getting it. If I had done that with ME 3 instead of pre-ordering, then I would have known about the ending and I would have waited for an ending fix to purchase it.

I liked DA2... as a game with nothing related to DAO, not even the name.

For me it was:

Dragon Age Origins and Dula Alalala 2

DragonAge 2 itself was a disappointment that made me wary of Ea's influence on Bioware rushing things out the door and the quality control and decision making of that team. Probably wasn't going to pre-order like I did ME2, ME3 and DA2, now I won't buy it at all until I see the fan reviews of it.

Just can't trust what is coming out of Bioware (games or PR) anymore.

I do. I was looking forward to the resolution of the Warden & Hawke's story. But after ME3, I no longer trust Bioware to make a proper ending. And the longer they drag their feet on the present issue the more concrete my complete separation will be.

DA3 can thank DA2 for me not buying it until it's in the Steam bargain bin. ME3's ending just reminded me why I'd sworn off that series.

I loved the original DA (All DLC bought) but after the DA2 fiasco (I haven't even bought or played it, the reviews and stupid changes were reason enough) I lost all interest in the DA series. The few facts confirmed for DA3 just made me know I was right.

I like that they call Dragon Age 2 "polarizing."  Same thing they said about Mass Effect 3's ending.  I guess in BioWarespeak that's interchangable with "awful."

Dragon Age II was polarizing. The player base was genuinely divided on the game, with many disliking it overall and many others liking it in spite of its flaws. I thought it was a fun game, and it did make some improvments mechanically.

Mass Effect 3 is not polarizing. The overwhelming majority of the player base love the game (despite a few imperfections) right up until the last few minutes, and then completely loathe the ending. While there are a very few people who seem to like the ending, it's not "polarizing." It's pretty much a general consesus that ME3 is a great game with a complete crap ending.

DA3 will be the first bioware game, i buy about 2 weeks after its released, and Only if i dont see pain and tears on the DA3 forums like ME3.

Im beyond blindly throwing money at Bioware based on trailers that turn out to be better tgan the actual game itself.

DA2 Broke tested my faith, ME3 shattered it.

I loved DA but I didn't even buy DA2. If I don't get DA3 it will because of the direction of that series not the direction of the ME franchise. Also, I wouldn't buy anything from them prior to consulting with fellow gamers regarding it. I don't trust review sites, bunch of sellouts.

Why give DA3 a chance when they already ****ed up ME3? If we stopped accepting their mistakes maybe they'd stop making them.

After forcing myself through Dragon Age II, I had no desire to play DA3.

And you know what?

I still don't.

Yep, they cancelled DA2 DLC, and announced all those involved were being added to the DA3 team.........or something like that.

I can't imagine what would make be pay 59.95 for more DA2, which from early comments is what DA3 is going to be. Dev's said they can't leak much information, but have been very clear that DA2 was going in the right direction and they wouldn't be going back to DA: Origins. Paraphrased: those that want DA:O will be dissapointed, they believe DA2 did a lot of things right.

Anyway, DA2 affected my dislike for DAIII, they can't blame Mass Effect ending for affecting sales, the DA2 team did this all on their own.
