If it's good then yes, I will pay.

I hate to agree with a condescending remark, but there's truth in that.Keldaurz wrote...

As I said before, you don't charge your customers for your own screw ups.

If it is just < 20 minutes of in-game renderings/dialogs/etc. to tie things up at the end, no that isn't worth paying for in my book. It would be hard for them to undo the damage with just that, but it COULD be done; however that quantity isn't worth a standard DLC payment; that much is what I thought I was getting when I first purchased the bloody game.
If they do something that say gets into a couple hours or more of additional content to add a better/more thorough climax, more resolution/exposition and a satisfying conclusion & epilogue (i.e. something that required the time and effort of many a staffer in addition to what is already being done) then yes that would be worth paying for simply because you can't expect much if anything for free...especially in the games industry...
I'll stop before I go all long-time PC gamer back-in-my-day on this thread...
So yeah if they do release a new ending (please...for the love of all that is storytelling please...), whether or not they can be justified in charging for it is completely coupled to how much value they add.

if it is an alternate ending DLC, I will pay. If it is 'clarification' or anything that makes the ending make any sense, or fullfills any of the pre-release promises - I think I already paid for it.

Yes, I would.
In fact, I'm hoping for it.

No, I hope Bioware realizes that it has to be free to truly appease the fans. If not there will just be another ****storm.

Much as it irks me, yes I would pay. Granted, I will be wary of BioWare going forward. I will also do my due diligence with the ending DLC itself. If it's just them trying to clarifying garbage. Odds are I'll pass.

Yes, it's the last thing I'll ever buy from them anyway. Even then it's not garenteed since there's a good chance they'll do it wrong.

This thread has been done like a million times, but yes, yes I would pay for alternate ending DLC.

Nope, sends them a message that releasing incomplete games is perfectly fine if they can make a profit off of ending dlc later.

JUST an ending? nope. i can YT that action
Ending + Omega or something, probably. Dosen't have to be long, but like arrival length or LOTSB length would be fine (LOTSB being my 2nd favorite pay DLC for any game behind undead nightmare for RDR)
i think the model they should follow if they're gonna do it is Broken Steel from fallout 3

Grudgingly, if it was up to the quality the rest of the story maintained, yes. And that would be the last dime they ever got from me.

After investing in the series for five years of waiting for a decent ending ? Yes, but it have to be good and i mean really good for me to shell out more money for something i feel should have been included the first time. If its just a wall of text or something trying to explain how we missed the point of the ending they gave us then no i wont bother.

4 Options:
1. They release a poor ending DLC --> Won't buy it + Won't buy anything else from Bioware or EA
2. They release a great ending DLC that costs --> Will pay for it, but won't buy anything else from Bioware or EA
3. They release a great ending DLC for free --> will continue to support Bioware (...EA...)
4. They do nothing at all --> Won't buy anything else from Bioware or EA

No. Not right away, at least. I will wait for others to buy it, see what they think, and then decide.

Not a simple yes or no as I see it.
I need to hear what they have to say. If they always meant for ending DLC then, no.
If they didn't expect this reaction and want to make it right, yes...depending on the nature of the changes.
I need to hear:
1. Their thoughts on the debacle.
2. Whether they want to make any changes.
3. How much they are willing to change, if anything.
4. If they only intend to add to it, what they plan to add.
5. Have they considered what the community has been saying or not.
6. What their ideas are for the ending are, if any.
7. Finally, I want to hear the "tone" they set between themselves and the fans. i.e. are they going to be grumpy, conciliatory, embarrassed, stubborn, shocked, offended, confrontational, etc. etc.
Until I know what their full position is I can't even make a decision. Thus far, they have praised those that insult the fans while calling out the fans for disrespectful comments. We the fans deserved it of course, but praise for the "journalists" offended me deeply.
There is a lot for me to consider before money is ever discussed.
