No. I'm not feeding Casey's cocaine habit

Yeah, I'm sure Casey personally get's such a big part of what EA earns with Mass Effect.

Grow up, child! Seriously, all this entitlement in this thread is depressing me.

For how many other games with a crappy ending did you people demand a free of charge new ending?

I would be willing to pay up to $15 (That's 1/3 what I paid for the game Bioware!), assuming that the length and quality is equal to that amount. But then again, with how horrible the endings are, I'd probably be willing to pay that just so I can unsee what I already saw. Or at least fool myself to.

Let me make myself clear. I'd gladly pay for a whole new ending, because catalyst scene just blows. But I'm not so eager to pay for something that I was promised, and just wasn't there, such as answers about the Krogan/Geth/Quarian/Alliance/squadmates fates and so on. I bought the game, because I wanted a true conclusion, not more answers and a prompt about buying some future DLCs.

yep, willing to pay, as long as it's serviceable.

If Harbinger is the final boss, there's an extra hour of gameplay,it has positive reviews,it costs $10 dollars or less, and the end cutscene itself is good, then yes,I'll consider buying it.

No, I've already paid 60€ for the CE. If they want me to pay more... well... NO. I repeat: NO.

Exactly ehat I'm refering to. I want a new ending, I'm part of Retake, I just think fixing a failed ending is actually Bioware doing something for us.

If it's free, great, but I think if they put more work into it, they deserve to get paid for it.

Like it or not, they are in no way forced to do this and we have nothing but a moral right to want a better ending (or endings).

Yes, they promised things about the ending, that it didn't fulfill and it makes me angry, but it's not exactly an uncommon practice in gaming.
They all tell you their next game is the best there ever was and that it can cure cancer.

No. When Bethesda did it there was a lot more content added in other than a changed ending.

Only if it's actually going to be a NEW ending not just a simple addition or an epilogue.

Yes I would, the same way I paid for Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3.

I'm pretty sure I already paid, so no.

If they make something alla broken steel = add hours of new content, then maybe.

For quality DLC that I feel brings the series to a satisfying conclusion, yes.

Maybe... maybe not. If they do make an alternative DLC ending that you have to pay for. That just makes it sound like they are trying to fleece you in the first place by writing such terrible ending.

Milking the franchise for all that it is worth....

Only if it is good. Otherwise my unwillingness to buy EA/Bioware products stands.

I think I've bought every DLC from both the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. I like the games, and I like supporting the company.
At this point, though, if the next DLC is anything but a "fix" to the ending I am holding off my purchase. I don't need to help Aria save Omega (for example) when the ending takes a massive sh!t on the universe.
...but yes, TAKE MY MONEY.

I'd pay for any new story content, thanks. Provided it's interesting enough. Although renewed/improved ending would be a great bonus and almost certainly is a must-have for me.

Would I want to pay for what should have been in the game I bought originally? Nope.

I would want to honor the 100+ hours of play I've logged, and end it decently though. So I would end up getting it, if community reviews were positive enough.
