The fire will follow the arrows, your goal is to direct the fire from the bottom left to the upper right corner. I don't think there is a move by move guide?

I know that much but doing something like that with pictures is a pain in the ass.

Yes...it is annoying, well can't really help you on that because of the natural of the puzzle. You could skip it, you ain't really missing any thing.

I had trouble with the bridge puzzle, (in fact had to look up the answer in a walkthrough) but got this one with little difficulty - I used to love playing the little plastic puzzle games this is based on when I was a kid.

That one was awesome. It required some half an hour the first time. I was so stupid. The best approach is to start from the back, and go to the start. Then you can make it in half a minute for sure.

This is like based off those simple puzzles you used to get for free at kids birthday parties back in the 70's and 80's. I can't believe you kids these days actually have trouble with this junk

I think it was quite simple. Had me a game like that when i was young with 15 squares. I think i did it in like 5-10 minutes.

Exactly.
Spent half an hour getting nowhere before it dawned on me to go to the "end" and work back ... and got it in less than five.

Sadly it's rather buggy.
Making the right "line" does not always end the game because some tiles eg. have a "left-Arrow" but the fire wants to go "down".
Or the hole is in the middle and you can only switch 2 tiles, one being far away from the hole.
Not mentioning, that i want to kill the girl if i have to spend more than 5 minutes with the puzzle ^^

...you mean you suck at the puzzle, not that it's bugged?
Unless you mean when the fire reaches a left arrow tile it goes down instead of left.

Puzzle is pretty easy, but I'm not sure what you get for doing it? Do you get something extra over just killing the demon? Also, I constantly seem to target and click on the cat accidentally while doing the puzzle ... "I'm not free yet!"

Lol, really. I loved those puzzles as a kid. I would always get one whenever I could and have people mess them up so I could see how fast I could solve it. This was by far the easiest puzzle in the game.

Not to mention she won't SHUT UP. I would have let her die but I love double crossing demons.

Just fiddling with it should solve it in less than 5 minutes. Even the puzzle in the ancient temple takes longer.

First time i tried this encounter i pissed the demon off and she and her minions wiped me pretty badly. I'm sure I with a few tries I could have defeated her ( a lot of encounters take a few tries it seems )
I decided to take a crack at the puzzle instead and I let the demon posess her, pretty amusing actually. Morrigan loved it, Allistair not so much. Puzzle was pretty much a snap.

This probably won't help much, but I normally work the puzzle from the end to the beginning. It takes me only a few minutes.
