BF3 went pay to win this week, why not ME3?
It really didn't tho. Try again.
Let's stop mocking those who spend money on equipment packs.

Time = Money for everyone.
If you are cool spending 20 hours a week farming credits, why isn't it cool for someone to spend $14 to buy credits?
Especially people who are literally "farming" credits. As in, not playing the game but just exploiting geth etc...
You know for minimum wage, you could probably purchase more packs than you can farm in an hour? I mean what is it 800C for $10? I don't know how fast the farming goes. But it's really not approriate for you to judge other people's spending habits.

I have brought about 3 spectre packs and 2 equipmen packs since launch and would have brought more until I heard of people losing their stuff and not getting reimbursed.
Farming geth on White is not fun, I view it as a waste of time. I prefer playing bigger maps like dagger and ghost, on silver. Using something that isn't a salarian. If I want to get some spectre or equipment packs I have to drudge through 20 minutes of garbage time in order to get it.
I worked hard for my own money and I'll spend it how I see fit.

Umm having owned BF3 since launch I can tell you that kits won't make you a better player. Having all the guns of a class still won't unlock all the attatchments, having all the upgrades on a jet still doesn't give flying skills, etc.Mesmurae wrote...

Skill matters most. What EA did with BF3 was let new comers a chance to catch up.
Although you could make an arguement that the rent a servers allows that host to set things to his own advantage, but most broken things will make your server unranked.

I would gladly pay 80msp for a pack of 20 medi-gels other than that I'll take my chances with points,

The only problem with your argument is that you're implying that BF3 takes skill... :innocent:samb wrote...

As an avid shooter fan...BF3 takes a hell of a lot more skill than most shooters.

No, bribing your way into victory deserves mockery.

The main reason they're being mocked is because the alternative to something which is essentially FREE is paying.
