Make all enemies sprint around like crazy and automatic weapons are buffed, in relative terms.

Add suppressive effect to assault rifles, whereby enemies being fired upon by AR would stop shooting except boss units.

Buff SMG damage above that of AR or even pistol which drops off sharply with distance.
