So Being a cold hearted boshtet I was bomming through my pure renegade playthrough and got to Tuchanka. Kept schtum about the Dalatrass, then ordered Mordin to stop.

And shot him in the back when he wouldn't.

Dammit Mording, why'd you make me shoot you. I very nearly had to reload a save just to not shoot you because you were one of my favorite characters, and shooting you damn near broke my heart, especially when you then failed to get to the shroud control. Even though I'd shot you, I kept kind of hoping you'd make it anyway.

Ave mordin, I'll not use a Carnifex again during this playthrough.

Watching the Renegade stuff with Mordin, and then Wrex later on youtube, there is no way in hell I could ever be a renegade.

I couldn't bring myself to kill Mordin even on a pure renegade character. I love Mordin.

No excuses. You could have faked the cure and kept Mordin alive to work on the crucible; Like Saren, you did not look for another option.

There is a special place in hell for those that shot Mordin.

Yes yes, am a monster. Can't wait to condemn the Quarians to death too.

Mind you, even as a Paragon I think in future playthroughs I'll start by saying nothing. Mordin and Shepards arguments, the 'I made a mistake' argument is epic.

You realize this means you didn't go pure Renegade?

I think if you killed wrex and Eve dies you can convince Mordin to stand down.

I didn't? uh... I thought I did. What didn't I do as a Renegade?

Will have to try this. Like Mordin better than Wrex anyway.

Don't know what you didn't do specifically. But a "pure" Renegade run results in forcing Mordin to stand down while sabotaging the cure, since Wreav will rule, Eve will be dead, and Mordin thinks maybe that's a bad time to cure the genophage.

If you waffle, you shoot him in the back, because you can't talk him down.

It's a punishment for indecision.

According to both my Prima guide and the internet the only way you can get him to stand down if you sabotage the cure is to have both Wrex and Eve dead. If you know of another way, I'd love to know. And I never waffled that I'm aware of, always picking the renegade option.

Yes if you go pure renegade, Wreav should be the ruler, and Eve should be dead.

That's going pure arse hole, not pure Renegade. I used the Renegade option on Virmire to force Wrex to obey me. Eve did die.

Yea Mordin can be convinced to stand down only if Wrex was killed on Virmire (resulting in Wreav as chief) Otherwise, Mordin's green blood will be on YOUR hands!

They have a special place in hell for people like you.
Right next to the people who didn't make peace between the Geth and the Quarians.

to be fair not everyone can make peace, new players wont get the chance need to play ME2 to make peace
