Excuse me for beating down people who are about to kick you while your down. Excuse me for head butting an atlas to death or tossing around phantoms and nemesis like butter. Excuse me for using carnage and nades while helping take over the objective.

If you can't bother to do the objectives on your own while I MHRAHAHA the bad guys, then one of us aren't doing their job and it isn't me. Krogans are for crowd control. We don't like sitting around not killing things. If more than ten seconds pass between us and killing something, the game breaks.

pleas BW  patch this game  so if krogans go more then 10 sec without killing something your team becomes fair game

If these "krogan" don't stick around to speed up hacking, they're fools. You should eat them.

I see what you did there.

To be honest, I love playing my Krogan Sentinel. That said? If I see a downed ally, I'm not going to revive him. For one reason and one reason only, I'm much more effective at knocking the things around him back while an infiltrator drops down to one knee to whisper sweet statements into your ear to convince you to stand back up.

If I can draw all the attention of the group of enemies surrounding you while someone else patches your butt up? Hell yeah I'm going to do it. As to the objectives part? I will go running around the map after four-point activations, mostly to lay down covering fire/"close range support" (also known as, "EVIL! MEET MY SWORD! SWORD! MEET EVIL!") for any of my allies who are going for the objective, I will stand within the circle and pop out of cover to smash the face of any enemies coming -into- the circle while firing off rounds at whatever's outside of it (and the next time you think whining about Krogan Charging - watch me knock that Geth Pyro away from the team), and I will gladly keep the mean, evil, nasty things from chewing on our (admittedly) delicious Adepts and Infiltrators when the majority of the enemy is on the other side of the map.

Play to the strengths of each kit, don't try to play a Krogan anything like a Salarian anything.

I play a Krogan Soldier Headbutter, we can't roll and dodge bullets just so we can revive people well unless it's safe.

We also need Rage that actually adds Health and Shield Bonuses within a few seconds so we need to keep charging.

i quote only this one, but i just laughed at all your posts. Thanks.
I must agree with the Krogan lovers. As a Krogan, I always go to revive comrades, but charge whatever is between me and the comrade, I try to stick to the hack zone, anyway mobs generally come to see me there, but often wander away for a few seconds for a charge or two (exception : Novaguy is out there, then i must stay inside because he certainly is not); and i certainly not complete the "Disable 4" objectives.
The reason we do like this is twofold : roleplay, and efficiency, once we are enraged, as long as we kill we stay enraged; greater damage, greater damage reduction.

My krogan keeps a blanket of bullets between him and his enemies at all times and only pimp slaps if a enemy is foolish enough to get in his face.

I am almost always a team player, happy to be in a support role. But when I play Krogan I'll be damned if I don't wade into masses of enemies, meleeing and carnage blasting my way to glory. I even know it's stupid while I am about to get smoked before I can melee my 5th Marauder in a pack but I god damn cannot help myself.

i'm sure your sample size of 2 players is good enough to label the entire community of korgan players.

Perfect answer. Don't distract krogans from meleeing everything. Objectives, revives and all that crap are for pyjacks!

terminals should never be touched by anyone except infiltrators who can cloak around the map with near impunity.

you should never have your entire team in the hack zone (just as you should never be in the extraction zone before the 30 second mark)... simply because you NEED to have someone elsewhere on the map to act as a distraction.

as for kill objectives... yea, everyone should be targeting them first.  of course, they should be combo boomed or sniped long before the krogan can get close enough to melee anyways.

reviving... well yea, thats everyone's job... but if your body is surrounded by a swarm of bad guys, id prefer the krogan do his pimp backhand while someone else picks you up off the floor.... he's one of the best people for quickly clearing out a tight packed group of mooks in melee range.

and finally... if its bronze... none of that matters because you can be deaf dumb and blind and still win bronze.

Do they stick around the hack area so it goes faster? Nope.
Do they revive fallen squadmates? Nope
Do they activate terminals? Nope

Why? Because they're always charging around slapping things. Anything even remotely resembling a mission objective can suck their quads.

I think it's safe to say that this is biased nonsense based on a narrow sampling of players.

More relevantly, Krogan are relatively poor team players because they do not have the potential for synergy with other roles that the higher tier classes do.  A player with the best possible attitude for teamwork who does not fit any of the criteria the OP listed simply is not capable of being as much of a team player as a krogan as he is being, say, an Asari Adept (who, among other things, can optimally set up and detonate combos, lockdown enemies, and doesn't need to worry about "kill stealing" affecting the rage trigger).

LOL, no.  Good crowd control can easily and consistently keep the zone clear with everyone in it.

See:  Human Vanguards, Salarian Engineers, et cetera.

Bad players are bad no matter the race/class, its just some combinations encourage those bad players to be worse because they over extend themselves due to a rambo complex that comes with having a strong point.

The krogan who is heavy meleeing the banshee thats after him.
The human vanguard who charges/novas the opposite side of the map into a geth hunter pack.
The infiltrator who camps one spot the entire game and scores the lowest cause no enemies came to his side of the map.
ect ect

I don't need a team. I have ammo.

In all seriousness, you've been playing with idiots or on bronze where teamwork isn't really necessary.

Extraction, hacking, and clicking needs to pay out to only people with in range. 75% of games someone quits anyways so hacking can be a problem when 1-2 of the 3 decide they are going to be a superhero.

Honestly, on gold, a krogan sentinel with the GPS doesn't need to be a team player, provided he's not an idiot who melees everything (including banshees and geth primes). 40 pct damage resisting tech armor combined with blood rage makes a krogan almost completely invincible.

That's a dirty lie. My krogan soldier does all of these things. Yeah, I jump out of the hack zone sometimes to push back dudes who get too close, but it's no reason to get upset (like the guy who yelled "Get back here, you stupid krogan!" over the mic at me recently). Not every krogan player is oblivious to the team, but yeah, we do need to beat people up to keep ourselves at peak strength.

I love when a Krogan and Human Vanguard are in the team. It's hilarious.
