My DW warrior is now level 10, so pretty soon I can ditch this damn dagger in my offhand and get a real weapon! Haha. Just curious as to what other people use as that "other" weapon. I am 100% starfang will be one of them, just not sure about the other one. Or maybe if I could be convinced, give Alistair starfang and I could go with 2 other weapons, just looking for opinions is all :) Thanks in advance!

As already said, Keening works wonders with Starfang. Load em' both up with runes, run into combat, and take a bathroom break..

Sorry for the newbish comment, but where would you find those other 2 swords? I don't remember seeing them in the playthrough on my Mage, but I just gave alistair starfang basically didn't look at sword the rest of the game either though lol. Thanks for the quick replies though I appreciate it!

I like to use The Veshialle, an axe bought from Bodahn in your camp.

Keening Blade is from the Unbound quest, which involves finding notes on dead bodies in various parts of Ferelden (spoilers here), and then killing a revenant-ish thing named Gaxkang the Unbound.

Topsider's Honour is from the Deep Roads, you have to "use" the Warrior's Grave in the room where darkspawn are fighting spiders, and then you'll find various pieces here and there. If you've got the Pommel, Hilt, and Blade, then use the grave again to obtain the weapon.

The Veshialle and Bloodline on my dwarf dual wielding berserker... Dwarves with swords just don't feel right.

How bout veshialle and rose's thorn with precise striking for crazy crits. Sure daggers do less damage, but they attack faster. Not sure if this is the best way to go, just a thought.

DW has large dmg output from whirlwind + duel weapon sweep in majority of the encounters, u often able to instantly kill 4+ enemies with just this 2 ability in the first few seconds of the fight. using a dagger gimps ur instant aoe attacks, just a bad idea.

Although with bloodthirst, precise striking u can get over 40% crit rate, max crit modifier isnt exactly a bad idea.

i would still stick to starfang + veshialle though, it beats keening in term of utility, stam regen is always nice when u have berserking + momentum running.

I personally think dwarfs should't use sword they more like maces and mauls or axe

That boils down to roleplay, though. There's no game mechanic-related reason for that. Maybe this Dwarf likes being different?

2 x Veshialle. You'll have to "cheat" either by money glitch or selling some DLC items
