 Assuming a typical pure or almost pure build. Betwin a Fighter and a monk, whos the best damage dealer and whos the most durable in a fight ?

monk, forget pure fighter, fighter is only "feat for free" food in your build

Ok do you have any good fighter build to link to me ? I,d like a pure melee character no spell using and something not to complicated if possible lol.

Since you are interested in damage dealing I'll be listing strength builds and other high damage builds, you can search for these classes here to get different builds that are quite potent.

Bard/Fighter/Red Dragon Disciple
Bard/Fighter/Palemaster
Fighter/Monk/Weapon Master
Bard/Fighter/Arcane Archer
Ranger/Fighter/any
Paladin/Champion of Torm/any

For lower lvls under 12th, I prefer Fighters; after that, the Monks are much easier to survive.

As for a pure Fighter build, that would be difficult for me to say, as I like a sprinkle of Rogue in almost everything, and Fighter has so few Skill Pts. For a major Fighter design, I would offer a Fighter/ Rog; possibly CoT or DwD if you like PrC's.

Since I do not think that the Community has ever done a Pure Monk vs Pure Fighter breakdown, it is hard to say.

Certainly environment is going to have a big effect, but I keep thinking of Dev Crit...it is really going to be a nasty factor, I think.
