The whole Quarian line from the Dreadnaught through the end of Rannoch. I've only seen it while romancing Tali which gives it nice depth.

Honestly, this one hated Rannoch(mainly because no matter what you do, the Morning War continues), but Tuchanka in its entirety was awesome, it's proof that the old Bioware is still clinging to dear life.

Tuchanka and Thessia. Mars was pretty neat too.

I can't choose between my two favourite moments, both of which feel like the culmination of 3 games worth of brilliantly written characters and situations.

It's either curing The Genophage on Tuchanka, (Which was poignant and beautiful)

Or... having my Paragon Shepard lose all patience with the Quarians and go Renegade on their arses telling them that if they didn't stop trying to attack The Geth and stand their ships down NOW... she'd sit back and watch the Geth wipe them out... then when Legion died, *again* it was poignant and beautiful.

Man tears. Real Man Tears. ;)

yep felt bad for legion

Geth consensus.
It didn't involve fighting at all, but it was the hardest mission I've done.

Tuchanka Story line. Then Grissom Academy.

Agree on both - there you really can see old Bioware in these missions.

The Citadel mission, Udina getting pwned at the end topped it off.

Probably Tunchanka. But, honestly, I thought Palaven's moon was one of the best missions of the series. The visuals were amazing and harkened back to the first game, and the gameplay was fun.

No, you can stop the Morning War and make peace between Quarians and Geth. Or did you mean something else?

My fav mission: Repelling the Cerberus attack on the Citadel. Everything on that mission is just pure gold.
Also, Tuchanka.

Genophage arc, no contest.
(Though I love everything Legion, his character arc isn't a 'mission')

AHHH I always forget about Palaven's moon! That's such a great mission :) Though I think Tuchanka wins by just a hair...

My favourite mission was "The Crucible" mission....because of its artistic integrity.

Sanctuary and Mars stand out for art and level design. Sur'kesh is also probably one of the most fun levels over all for no particular reason, it just seems to do everything well.

Edit:

Honorable memtion goes to Palavin's moon, Thessia foir all the carange the Reapers are causing in the background. I also like the stone carvings on Tuchanka as well as the scenes of vegetation and the large temples., those were unexpected.

Hmm... that's a tricky one.

I loved the mission where you were taking down the Hades cannon in the ruined streets of London.

The gates of the shuttle open and a grenade gets thrown inside.

You storm out before it detonates and charges the defending Reapers, the screen flickering in white with this thunderous roar everytime the cannon fire, blinding as you charge forward, gunning down and obliterating all resistance with heavy weapons & biotic explosions.

When playing the game, it was best.

As for cut-scenes... Tuchanka.

This.
You get to shoot Udina at the end. Doesn't get much better then that :)

Other then that Tuchanka and Rannoch was great!
I liked Thessia as well. The dialogue over the radio at the final moment when the reapers land was heartrending Image IPB

Rannoch, bittersweet mission with sacrafices and logical decisions that mattered.

Unlike the end of the game

Rannoch, but it's a tough call between that, Tuchanka, and Grissom Academy.

Though I still want the option to tell Jack "I never -did- trust them, I've been in prison the last six months, dammit!"

Loved lots of them. Sanctuary, Thessia, Grissom Academy and the AY monastery for atmosphere. Tuchanka and the Geth/Quarian arc for emotional pull. Love the Consensus in particular.

Rannoch and tuchanka are damn awesome.

My favourite moment lies in rannoch though, when shepard defeats the reaper by foot targeting the enemy and calling for orbital strikes. I was filled up with adrenaline when the reaper came closer and closer with the eye. ME3 is such a great game now that I think of it lol

I generally like the main missions a lot - the side missions, not so much. I guess that's what you'd expect for the most part but the side missions are very weak.

Its hard to say as liked all the main missions but I suppose if I had to choose I would go with Tuchanka and Rannoch as they had the best story lines and led to emotional conclusions.

And my favourite Renegade interrupt in Mass Effect comes from running Kai Leng through with the Omni Blade followed by Shepard's quote "That's for Thane you SOB!"
