Because when I was walking there with my flashlight, I was sure something terrible would be coming at me. One teammember kicked a bottle around and it startled me. Luckily, nothing happened. But then my encounter with the first banshee... I was like... WTF IS THAT!
Samara shooting herself through the head was quite shocking.
Dunno, that bit kinda stuck with me.

Tuchanka story line all of it
Seconded, that planets quests are so amazing I consider them the high point of the whole game
That, and especially my femshep dialogue with Eve.

Honestly, this one hated Rannoch(mainly because no matter what you do, the Morning War continues), but Tuchanka in its entirety was awesome, it's proof that the old Bioware is still clinging to dear life.
No, you can stop the Morning War and make peace between Quarians and Geth. Or did you mean something else?
My fav mission: Repelling the Cerberus attack on the Citadel. Everything on that mission is just pure gold.
Also, Tuchanka.
No matter what you do in Mass Effect 2, gaining tali and legion's loyalty, talking to the quarian admirals urging them not to go to war, it's all for naught, they still attack the geth, the entire story arc just told me that this one's choices in the second game did not matter AT ALL, and even Shep's renegad response urging them to war with the geth doesn't do much either, it's absolutely retarded.
This one would see some Quarians swayed by Shepard's words, and refuse to war with the geth.
The entire storyline is kind of ridiculous, there's a galaxy wide reaper invasion, and the quarian fleet only cares about reclaiming their homeworld and defeating the geth... The reapers wouldn't just leave Rannoch alone and allow the quarians to thrive...

Single mission? The Ardat-Yakshi monastery.

Wow first time somebody choose this. Thought a lot more would choose this as a favorite mission.

Grunts mission was boss aswell, loved the segments when you got to use the torch on the end of your gun, because as video game logic goes "If there's a torch on the end of your gun, S***s about to go down"

I would actually go with either the Rachini (grunt) or the Monastary (samara) mission.
In-universe, makes NO sense for flashlights but the actual gameplay was nice and tense and exciting...

You would think since the galaxy is at war with the Reapers, there would have been more missions where you fight the Reapers in an open conflict like those two. Tuchunka was fun too but Mordin made me sad.
