Like a lot of people, I have found myself with some extra time on my hands since the Black Hole glitch made ME3 totally unplayable for me.  I have, for example, noticed my apartment has suddenly gotten a lot cleaner.  Gone are the chip bags and empty chu-hi cans on the tatami.  In their place, a sort of eerie tidiness seldom seen around here.

But I digress.  The advent of spring here in Matsumoto has brought with it the return of running season, and while I have yet to hit my stride as it were, I've been strapping on my sneaks and heading down to the river for some brisk springtime running.

What I propose is this: as it's already been nearly a month since the gltich was reported and there's been little in the way of encouraging feedback from Bioware, we should band together and run for a fix.  Since I thought of this idea yesterday, I'm going to go ahead and throw 7.5km up on the board.  As I make progress day after day, I'll add to the total with the running tally showing how many km of track I've been forced to chew up while my favourite game sits unused on my coffee table.

If anyone else out there is game, feel free to add to this total.  How far can we make it before the promised fix arrives?  100km?  I fear that's being optimistic.  With even a small number of people, we should have a total in the 100s, and could even reach 1000 with a little effort (and bad luck).

And to Bioware, I offer the following: "We're not dragging our feet.  Neither should you."

Running total (as of April 2, 0:40 GMT):  7.5km.

...or how about I drop by head office and drop a kind, polite and informative letter? Not kidding, I even know a few of the DA dev guys.

Kudos. I'm grounded by iaido knees tonight, but I'll try to wheeze out a few km tomorrow.

Thanks for the support! And best wishes for a speedy and painless recovery.

For my part, I put another 6+km in the can after work today. Let's say 6.2, to bring the total to...

Current Total: 35.5km

Yes thank you. So 7Km today so lets call it 42.5 km. Honestly I am getting back to my fighting shape and the Mrs. could not be happier. So thank you to Bioware from her.

Tell me about it. At this rate, I might actually end up being physically fit.

Nah...

I can barely keep my eyes open tonight at work. Someone else will need to run for me. Allergies are the suck. Also really wish I could sign up for some type of alert from Bioware for them to tell me when it is fixed. Signing on just to make sure it freezes every day is frustrating. Think I may play Fallout 3 again unless I find a new game.

Bam!  Just did 12 and a nickel this afternoon.  Thoughts of all those afflicted by the Black Hole somehow coaxed me around the track for a fifth lap even though my knees were moaning like a pair of oppressed political dissidents by that time.

Current total: an even 55km!

The community fix works... You don't need to suffer the lack of playing ME3 (unless you are stuck in bed like me).

Also why is it that I hear Kate Bush when I read this thread lol.

Yup.  And when we hit 80--and we almost inevitably will--we'll be in ultra-marathon territory.  Just wait till this gltich hits Kenya.  Then, we'll be rolling in the km.

Another 12.5 today, duplicating yesterday's total and bringing the current grand total to 67.5km.

Thoughts in no specific order:
1. As of Friday I am an Escapee
2. Do we still count my running?
3. GT gunslingeraz when you get free
4. Random people online are still irritating in case you thought that might have fixed itself in the last month.

1.  Well done.
2. Oh yeah, it still counts.  Assuming you'd still like to see the problem addressed properly and who wouldn't..
3. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.  Not sure when that'll be, though.
4.  Bless their little hearts.

Add another 7km for me. Fighting off a cold so my time was miserable.
