Is it worth it to give the CL to squad members? Do they actually charge the weapon to increase the damage, or do they just plink away with it?
Do Companions charge the Chakram Launcher?

They don't appear to charge it, no, and for pure effectiveness it's far behind the Prothean rifle or Falcon or even the Rev on Ashley. That said, it's absolutely hilarious watching Garrus explode husks with it, and the built-in AP is nice against large crowds of Guardians.

I find it rocks against Brutes, takes them out faster than pretty much any other weapon I have, even headshots with the Widow. And even uncharged, the exploding discs can stagger the Brutes, leaving them open for more incoming shots.
Not sure why. Mechanics for the weapon seem a bit odd. Wish I knew how it all worked.
