So I jacked up when playing through, and pissed off a party member, I was wondering is it possible to edit thier approval via the toolset or am I hosed.

Ok so I figured it out, you can actually max it by going to the SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST>SAVEGAME__PARTY_APPROVAL_LIST----When you edit it will show in game as thier previous disposition for a bit however auto corrects to the proper names and attitudes, being as dog is always friendly you may try using the exact same values
