Would have been cool to see him during the Geth/Quarian part of the campaign, perhaps he could have been in that mission where you have to save the Admiral?

Wait, really? I mean, as much as I love both Kal'Reegar and Adam Baldwin, I can sort of believe they'd just choose not to contact him, because his role was so minor, but how do you not contact Mordin Solus? I mean, I assumed that Mordin didn't return because of contractual issues, or something like that, not because they simply didn't even offer it to him. Maybe he was a pain to work with or something. Still that's... odd to hear.

Yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts on the matter. I didn't create this thread as an "OMG BIOWARE, HOW COULD YOU?" spiel, but more so because I thought it was just kind of soul-crushinginly sad to watch Adam Baldwin smile up at me and say, "Maybe I'll be in the fourth game." It was real-life dramatic irony at its finest.

Alphabetical order? I'm not looking at the list right now, but C comes before D, doesn't it? And it is pretty high up there on the letter ladder.

You're correct, but it's not by actor's last name, it's by character's. After Commander Shepard, the rest of the cast is listed in alphabetical order by their last name (Or fist if they have no last name [ex. Grunt]), so it went Allers, Anderson, etc.

Well I don't know what happened but I assume they didn't want to contact him for such a minor cameo role. I mean he is Adam Baldwin so I'm sure he doesn't come cheap plus they already gotta pay other heavy weights like Martin Sheen, so I guess its understandable.

Not cool, but at the end of the day its not like he did huge amount of work on the project. You cannot expect they will keep him in the loop.


Then again, he is a pretty big name among sci fi fans, you would have thought they would be happy to get him back.

It gets worse. On IMDB Chobot is listed above Keith David, Tricia Helfer, Lance Henriksen, and Martin Sheen. Let me say this again: The "actress" portraying a no-name reporter who has no significance to the plot is listed higher than the talent who voice a squad companion, two of the protagonist's most trusted allies (and mentor figures), and one of the primary antagonists.

makes sense why they didn't need him harby not really a pivotal point in the final story since Kal'Reegar is dead and harby only getting 3 seconds role to blast shep before they make it to the conduit there really no need for him.

Yes sure, he also had some good lines in other smaller roles. But cmon, that was not a real role for which you can fall in love with an actor.

I am curious whether I missed something from him pre-Firefly that is worth watching because of him.

Bioware just ignored "minor characters" in me3. Mostly because of not wanting to pay for VA's. Kal'Reegar, Morinth, Parsinni or w.e, Shiala... etc. etc. etttccccc.
