No seriously, it is. So what happened? The character was very well received by the fans, there was definitely potential and opportunity for it. So WTF happened? Why wouldn't they even contact him?
It's the whole Michael Beatle thing all over again. A shame BW, really a shame!

There was ANN article about Palaven.
Maybe we go there, do something important and on our way save Kal'Reegar?

IMO, the only reasonable place to be for Kal would be on/near Rannoch at the time of ME3. Why would he be on Palaven when the quarian fleet tries to take back the homeworld?
Because you get an email after Rannoch where he died fighting to help the Turians, as the Quarians started to commit assets to the war.

I would of swapped Kal Reeger for James Vega AND EDI as squad mates any day of the week.
TWO FOR ONE SWAP< and it still would of been better.

I predict the same exact thing will happen when a ME fan meets Keith Szarabajka
No ****ing way! Harbinger must be in a future DLC! We must have a final confrontation and a conclusion! No way!

You won't. This is all the grand strategy of BioWare to get rid of those 'hardcore fanboys' and swap them in for no brain CoD'ers. True story.R3MUS wrote...

Oh, my bad, I thought you meant that mission would be before he dies (hence before Rannoch). Ok, so it would be about another altering DLC. No offence but I hope they fix the endings first before they fix stuff like that

To be fair, Kal was a SIDEEEEEEEEEE character who just happened to fill the story with pathos within 10 seconds of appearing on the screen. It's unfortunate that not every one of those guys made it back. For every Kirrahe there is a Kal'Reegar.
He was a side character, and so was Allers. Though I don't remember hearing anyone go "Why the f*** did they put Adam Baldwin in this? He can't act at all. He's just there to make female players' panties wet." Jessica did get that very reaction from almost everyone. They should have skipped Chobot and brought back the characters the fans actually liked. I'm not so shallow that a "photorealistic" model of IGN's resident eye-candy could get me to buy a game. TBH, I don't exactly see the appeal of her to begin with. I couldn't care less about the entirely female cast of AotS, either (Kevin, way too much hair product and "fashionable" clothes to hold onto your man-card, buddy). And a porn star? Really? I'm sorry, "adult model".
Is this really what the "gaming media" thinks of its fans, that we are a bunch of blathering idiots who have never seen an attractive member of the opposite sex up close? At least when they made Miranda a clone of her VA, they chose someone with some actual acting talent.

I know it wasn't BWs intention at all, but Adam Baldwin made qurians suddenly sexy to me.

Bioware could add some more space magic and write in Dutch from ODST... at least it would be the same voice...
If Dutch can soehow find a magical doorway back in time to another universe, I'll just wait for 117 to find one that leads back before Shepard wusses out and then watch an enlisted man put an officer to shame.

Do you really need to ask? A lot of gamers even are actually like that, although I would say certainly not the regular Bioware gamers

One clear example I can give is with Joe Kucan (faimous for his role as "Kane" in the C&C series).
Before Westwood was bought by EA and in the early years that followed after, he was also responsible for just about everything related to cinematics and FMVs.
Afterwards, he was relegated to just being an actor while EA (the publisher) handled directing and recruiting.
I'd say maybe we shouldn't look too hard on BioWare for killing-off Kal'Reegar. Maybe, for whatever reasons, EA considered that hiring Mr. Baldwin again wasn't in their best interests so they informed BioWare that they had to make due without him.
