"Fun" is subjective, but it sure seems that some people have low tolerance. If players were allowed to steamroll everything without a challenge, they'd get bored of the grind and left in under a month.


But it already was a challenge.

Now its becoming more of a dull challenge.

The people that dismiss someone's arguments "because it's coop, not pvp" seem to ignore one crucial thing: there are 4 people in a team, and all 4 need to have fun for the game to have a future. If that doesn't happen, less and less people will play --> the game dies.

Coop or not, there's a meter that tracks contribution. That makes the game competitive. Even though we're not killing each other, most people want to be on top of the list at the end of the round. Or at least not very much behind #1.

Example: high level human vanguard in bronze mopping up most mobs before others get much of a chance to target 'em. Sure, you'll get the same reward at the end, but you're watching someone else go to town for 14mins and that just isn't as much fun as getting some action yourself.

The same can be said for some infiltrators on Silver: while everyone gets the same reward, if you never get a chance to leverage your class' advantages because your targets get sniped all the time, or if you get the feeling you're just an "overload bot" so the sniper can happily headshot whatever is coming in, that too can get repetitive and boring.

Noone likes to be massively one-upped. Not in pvp, but also not in coop.

I do have fun. I enjoy not getting slaughtered because the cloaked sniper did enough damage for me to finish off the advancing brute squadran. You mean you prefer to die and end up in defeat? :innocent:

Shush troll. No I don't prefer to die, but I do prefer the co-op game actually to be... co-operative. As in: everyone has something to contribute and a match is not completely dominated by one player.

All they need to do to make the game more of a challenge is increase the weapon damage more so it scales better to gold.....

It's at like 2.75% per weapons level which is not enough at all....

It should be 3% then when you get it to 10 an additional 10-20%

The only use I saw for it was against the atlas....and that was only bvecause he is big enough that the proximity mine doesnt miss...then again i could always try to shoot it at the floor against brutes and banshees, they move much faster though...

I agree with OP. The damage boost and cloaking are fine, but the fact that you can use an ability + shoot with the same cloak is over the top. And it allows you to greatly reduce the CD on said ability too.
At least when doing this (cloak, ability, shoot) the longest cooldown should trigger. (=like when you use overload / energy drain outside of cloak).

If one class is above others, boosting everything else is not the solution. And yes balance is important in a coop game too, no one wants to play infiltrators online. Carnifex online is enough.

Eight. Things. Nerfed. Out dozens of weapons, mods and abilities. Mostly just weight tweaks.

Which one was the one that dulled the game for you, I'm curious?

I do not know if someone has mentioned this but is there a bug with Tactical Cloak with a charged GPS or Graal shot where cloak automatically disables itself?... At first I thought I was charging too soon, but sometimes I am fully charged and others not charging at all and the cloak immediatly disables itself like I have taken a shot.

Its not a bug.

Cloak registered you PRESSING the trigger button thus it uncloaks regardless if you took the shot or not.

My human and salarian engineer begs to differ. I can kill more mobs of little **** and strip shields with them faster than you can get a shot off with your cloaked infiltrator.

The Infiltrator is fine, the Engineer is fine, the Adept is fine, the Vanguard is....ummm hmmmm, the Soldiers needs a buff, and the Sent could use one also.

Stop your ****ing because you found a playstyle that works for you /scoff and infiltrator with a pistol

I couldn't help but laugh when I read that bit.

I agree, though. Infiltrators are snipers and/or use shotguns, even, if they like being a stealthy CQC sort of person (personally, I do both).

PLEASE! No more nerfs! Stop asking for nerfs on a damned co-op game. It's hard enough to find 3 other random public people to get through silver, we don't need any more nerfs. In fact, we could do with some buffs. And for those who would say play with people you know, then I suggest the same to people who are complaining things are overpowered. Play with people who don't use these things!

It is kind of silly that Taccloak is a better damage boost for an automatic weapon/shotgun than any other ability. As if soldiers weren't useless enough..
