Its not a bug.
Cloak registered you PRESSING the trigger button thus it uncloaks regardless if you took the shot or not.
But it doesn't happen consistently though, sometimes I am not even charging and it just disables... I have gone in a private match on my own and I will charge until fully charged... enter cloak and cloak will occasionally disable. I have been very careful of what I press and when Ipress it but it still does it sometimes.

Human Vanguard is theoretically invincible. Asari Adept (+ an optional biotic'er) kills everything hilariously fast. Would you say they are not easy to play and strong?
To add to the ProxMine discussion, I also favor them (rank 5, overall build 6/5/6/6/3). Serves as an early warning system, flushes groups of enemies out of cover (through surfaces if needed), weakens a whole group and makes them take more damage. Fire at any big enemy to kill all of their buddies too. And as one minor thing, it'll kill Husks in one shot

This is stupid, if one thing sticks out over the rest it is much easier to nerf that one thing instead of buffing everything else. Besides, if everything got a buff gold would be even easier than it is now.hector000 wrote...
People need to stop asking for effing nerfs on a co-op game. Ask for buffs instead god damn it. What do you want even crappy teammates?
Anyways, I agree with you OP. Tac cloak is probably the best ability in the game. I would say a slight decrease in duration and/or a increase in recharge time would possibly help balance it a bit.

But it does work. Only take the weapon dmg buffs and skip the sniper rifle buffs for the infiltrator. then put on the Paladin/Carnifex pistol with a scope and BOOM you can get four/six shots of cloaked dmg buff!

This skill should NOT be nerfed. Other classes skills need to be brought up to its level of usefulness so that the game is more balanced. For example, id like to see tech bursts go off whether the target dies or not.

We do need balancing in a COOP game. if there isnt any, then people would find out whats the strongest and only play that. Bioware wants all weapons and classes to be viable, when they see that no one is using SMG's, they buff it, and when everyone is using the FALCON they nerf it.
Its not fun when everyone is using the same gun, same build, same class, just because its OP.
We do need balancing in a COOP Game, its for the sake of the "Fun Factor" of it all.
If players dont feel like they are contributing, its not fun, and if there is no balance adjustments, that player just plays the OP class instead of playing the class he/her wants.

Did you purposely left out the downside of "Tactical" cloak? Your shield & health doesn't regenerate while in cloak? As mentioned earlier, shield gate in Gold effectively eliminate 1 hit kill prior to debuff protections such as barrier/shield.
Instead of QQing about having lower scores than your teamates, learn and practice to improve your skill/judgement/situational awareness/tactics/team orientation/weapon loadout, level and upgrades correctly. Any class can be effective vs enemies that enchance your strength. I'm a N7 800+ competitive player and I can play any class on gold and almost always ranked #1/2 in the team with scores at least 75k+ with almost no death and no heavy weapon usage until wave 10 if necessary.

Stop being ignorant. He is not complaining because he gets a lower score but rather because the class has an obvious advantage over others which kills variety. ya people started using the QI or falcon again. but its more out of novelty than because they are good.
a good player can make any class/race seem over powered. i usually top the score board with only taking a SMG just to see if i could take 1st on any random character. im not even close to being the best player like some of these guys are, but i usually get stuck playing with people that are just plain bad. which i bet they think what im playing is OP or im cheating somehow.
also people play infiltrators more, because the play style is easy to learn. some of the other class's people have to use unclear play styles, which make them seem to suck.
i have tons of points to make but most of the community cant understand reason and logic, so im not going to waste any more of my time on this thread.

Just stop failing, things that tower above everything else need to be nerfed to be brought in line with the majority, things under performing need to be buffed up.
Being Co op or PvP is totally irrelevant. things are going to get nerfed, just buffing everything is the best way to make a game boring and imbalanced.

Sniper rifles are SUPPOSED to be quick at killing. The infiltrator class is meant as nothing more than a specialist in that area. They are the ones that pick off the enemies far away with no problems. Tactical cloak is right where it needs to be.

asari have statis, obvious advantage because it can get you out almost any situation with a non armored target.
infiltrators have cloak, duh, .. such an advantage over other classes.
vanguards can charge out of anything onto a new target, probably an advantage to ... kills variaty to, cause i've yet to see a krogan bioticly charge.
engineers to, they can call up a drone and double team an enemy, obviously an advantage.
...
should nerf all the advantages, really, totally screwing up the game.

Exactly, just earlier today, I brought my level ONE engineer to a silver game with 3 other level 16-19 players who are Quarian Infiltrator, humann infiltrator and Turian Sentinel. Initially one of the party members wanted to vote kick me being level one, despit my high N7 800+ rank. The team leader obviously noticed my rank and correct weapon loadout, single weapon, level 10. Maxed cooldown. I said "whoever wanted to vote kick me, i'll let my scores do the talking". ~20 mins later I ranked #1 with ~10k point above 2nd place, and full extraction, didn't die once and didn't have to use heavy weapon. The host immediately left the game after the round is finished, go figure.
Experience and skills of the player will enhance the character that he's playing. If people watch me play, they will complain every class is then OP but it's not. It's all in the hands of the player.

To be honest, this co-op game should be more about fun and casual enjoyment, not frustration. Which, imo, nerfing our characters and buffing our enemies is what it is becoming.
