And they don't kill variety, there are plenty of other builds that are effective in the areas that the Infiltrator is not.
You just have to not be afraid to try them.

I think Bioware should lower Cloaks damage boost, and make it so that it only applies to weapons, because i really want to play Other classes, but the cloak damage boost while shooting a free power without a cooldown being activated, and still can shoot with the damage bonus is too good to pass up to play other classes.

I'd believe the fact that you've played all the classes to 20, but that alone should have taught you something about what each class brings to the table.
Play Silver some, hm? Teammates with endless biotic explosion combos are almost always outracing my Black Widow for kills and scores. Sure, Tactical Cloak can help lay down some serious firepower for the opening shots, but it's costing us a cooldown we could otherwise be spending on escaping/running, or reviving someone, or getting an objective.
And for the record, most of the time when I Sabotage while cloaked, I barely have time to line up a shot before it decloaks. NOT TO MENTION the fact that my power cooldown is now affected by my Sabotage CD and not the cloak CD.
The cloak is far from needing balance. On Silver and Gold, enemies can pretty much see you anyway at mid-range. I don't see an overpopulation of Infiltrators in silver, so maybe you're just feeling insecure? Co-op game?

If you really think Infiltrators are OP, you've never played Gold, or never played it without being carried.
And they don't kill variety, there are plenty of other builds that are effective in the areas that the Infiltrator is not.

This, too. God, there's so many different options out there for builds. Maybe less so on Silver/Gold, but for crying out loud it's not like Bioware gives you less credits if you get outscored.
Predators are serious business, yo. Low weight needle shooters >.>

The only use I saw for it was against the atlas....and that was only bvecause he is big enough that the proximity mine doesnt miss...then again i could always try to shoot it at the floor against brutes and banshees, they move much faster though...
Proxy mines vs. Atlases? ... lol.
I sabotage the hell out of those groundpounders. Killed two phantoms in one wave with 'em.

If you want to help your preferred class then ask for buffs.

Have you PLAYED an infiltrator in a rezzing/capping role? On anything above bronze?
Enemies are not blind on Silver and Gold. Get within earshot of them while cloaked, and it wont matter if you couldn't flick your cigarette on them. Lots of times when I try to rez my teammates, I get attacked while cloaked. Lots of times when I try to cap a node while cloaked, I'll still get stray bullets.
No, it's just fine the way it is. It requires proper timing and skill. Try it before you knock it.

And then I realized I wasn't dying. There is a place for feeling you're contributing, but we all need to keep our egos in check.

We do need balancing in a COOP game. if there isnt any, then people would find out whats the strongest and only play that. Bioware wants all weapons and classes to be viable, when they see that no one is using SMG's, they buff it, and when everyone is using the FALCON they nerf it.
I couldn't stop laughing after reading that.

Best race for MP is generally Salarian.
