Could be lucky to be fair. I have only a couple of N7 weapons - a Saber III and a Scorpion V (wtf?). At this rate, I'll have a Scorpion X before I pull a BW/Paladin out of a pack .

If the scorpion was like in the SP it would be the best tactical gun in the game imo. Sticky granades pistol? Yes please. Atm though its too bugd to be good.
The saber is a beauty of a gun, use it on my turian sentinel, really love it.

I play around 4-5 Hr(s) a day after finished my job. i got my hand on window( VII) , Paladin III, Wraith II, Geth shotgun X But A COUNTLESS OF CHARACTER CARDS. !!!!!!! that mad me cry for my day. I wonder how much of Dollar(s) for 160 BIOware point.

Oh and while we're at it N7 9X on the PC and I have a Paladin II, Carnifex VI, Scorpion II, Talon something because I really hate this gun and a Javelin I.

N7 320 on the PS3 I have a Paladin II, Carnifex IX, Scorpion I, Talon IV, Javelin II and Widow X.

Lots of luck and credit/money is what you need if you want anything to level X.

@Notorious McG, yes lucky as one in a thousand (hence 99,9%) and you'd still have to add a lot of playtime or money to that. I got a Scorpion IV and Javelin III, the rest at level I or II and still no Black Widow.

N7 500, got nothing but Spectre packs with in-game credits since day 1, here's what I got:

- All N7 Weapons except Paladin (including Wraith IV, Javelin III, Scorpion II, Talon II...Saber I, Black Widow I)
- All customization cards for all classes

It's all just luck, guys...my friend got 3x N7 weapons in 4 packs...i've been getting NOTHING BUT CHARACTER CARDS for days now and stopped spending my credits because it's a waste just trying to get the Paladin or an upgrade for my Saber or Black Widow....

Maxing Gold Weapons is easy. Anyone who played non-stop since release got a Widow maxed out by now. It's the Ultra Rares we're talking about.

I've run into over 20 people with Black Widows X, all of them cheaters/exploiters/hackers, call it however you want. One of them was even kind/stupid enough to direct me to a site with a simple cheating program that let's you edit Credits. What was even more hilarious he called this "indirect cheating". LOL.

You're not missing anything - even at Javelin III, I still never use mine since there are other options that are infinitely better (Widow X/Black Widow I/Mantis X).

Javelin has too low ammo capacity, reload time is too long and it weighs too much compared to other SRs.

I've been trying for weeks to get an upgrade to my Saber or Black Widow and still no luck.

I'm about N7 180 and the only N7 rarities I have are the Talon 1 and Javlin 1. I only buy specter packs(with in game credits) and it seem like I always get a character card, mostly vanguard cards. LOL those cards took my Vanguard class from LVL 1 to LVL 14 without me ever making a Vanguard character.

On a side note i have all common and uncommon snipers to 9 or 10 because of Specter packs, but I haven't unlocked any shotguns or SMGs yet, just the ones that I started with. This is kind of disappointing because I prefer to play Sentinel.

If you want to max Shotguns or Smgs go for Veteran Packs. Unless it's the GPS, Grall Spike or Disciple you want.

On a side note I do enjoy my Javelin a lot, especially when the rest of my team is good or I'm against Cerberus. Salarian forward hopping paired with Javelin sounds for teh lulz. I do fall behind in points to other good snipers on the team though (at least 20k, sometimes more).

They could ban you, however I doubt they would. You're not hacking or altering the game with outside programs. The exploit exists within the game's function, same as the reload trick and rolling quick-scope.
