Hey, if it's the Take Back Omega DLC, maybe it will give us enough war assets to get the "perfect" ending without multiplayer! AWESOME!

Apparently, the perfect ending is the Synthesis one, according to Bioware, so good stuff!

One might find a pile of junk amazing. Doesn't mean it is objectivly amazing.
The current endings are "amazing" for someone, including Hudson & co

Was that actually confirmed? I generally try to avoid games developed by eugenics advocates.

One Bioware developer tweeted it, but I don't know. Design-wise from the Crucible, I'd have to say it makes sense that they think it's the best.

Really? Penitrating the body of every living thing, without it's permission, and changing it's genetic make-up is the best ending?

Wait, let me get my rape face one.....Image IPB

Yeah, man... synthesis is the bomb. You get to watch your Shepard burn up like a match stick, and everyone she ever cared about gets stranded on a jungle planet. It's epic. So much better than the other 15.

Yep! Isn't this the perfect way to end the Mass Effect series!?

The article quoted BSN and now BSN is quoting the article... I think you guys were better off digging up the original thread and deciding for yourselves:

I'm more likely to believe him when he says it's amazing than Casey, Mac, or Ray.

If you take all the crap the StarKid says at the end at face value, Synthesis is the 'perfect' ending in the long run b/c it solves the organic/synthetic issue for good. I think the writer (Mac) considered this the best one.

I am an optimist about this. I must be if I am still here, right? ;)

Please Bioware, don't break my heart again.

Still the same thing, though. It isn't a quote directly from Lance. It's the OP saying Lance said this.

It isn't my intent to call the OP a liar, because I don't think that's the case. I feel I'm being understandably skeptical when I say that I'd have an easier time believing the words straight from Lance Henriksen himself and not presented second-hand.

If what that webside states is true then it gonna be good or ill lose hope for the way Bioware is evolving.

Regardless of what is said at PAX, it is going to be big and amazing. It;s possible that it's not what people what to hear or what people want but it's still going to have a lot riding on it.

I have faith in Lance. He always seems to be a very straight-forward, no BS kind of a guy.

I consider this just advertisement and another PR/Ad campaign to try and mollify us. Don't take what the VA says at face value. Wait and see and continue to keep up the pressure against BioWare/EA until we do get what we want.

err.... He knew there was an alien on board the Sulaco - but didnt mention it to Ripley.  Well I suppose he was busy getting ripped in 2 but you would think it important enough to tell her.

Is there a link to this Kotaku article?  Can't find it on the search?

nor can I. Probably fake...... :(

Just for my own sanity, gonna email it to Kotaku and ask if it's a real article.  Will report back.

Mike Gamble tweeted about the synthesis ending awhile back, but stopped short of calling it the perfect ending.

Assuming the endings are never changed in a meaningful way, destroy will always be my headcanon "perfect" ending.
