Learn to promote before buying itempacks. Both mechanics are there for a reason, and they happen to synergize very well.

maybe introduce some meaningful reward for promoting characters to keep
people interested...

could be a system where based on N7 rating you get for example the
ability to purchase selected wepons rather than opening them at random.
(i.e. You reach 500 N7 rating you can purchase uncommons, 1000 N7 rating
- rares, 2000 N7 rating - ultra rares, 5000+ rating, N7 equpment)

Now this is brilliant. Or...

WHAT IF A HIGHER N7 RANKING INCREASED THE ODDS OF RECEIVING AN ULTRA-RARE IN PREMIUM SPECTRE PACKS?

Or... THE HIGHER YOUR N7 RATING, THE MORE CREDITS YOU RECEIVE FOR COMPLETING AN OBJECTIVE.

Aside from weekend operations and playing with new DLC, I pretty much stopped playing multiplayer after unlocking all gold weapons because it's so unrewarding and stale. If I know that my odds for getting an ultra-rare are slowly increasing or if I know that I can get to a certain point and purchase specific weapon upgrades, then I would probably still be playing regularly because I'm a completionist and want to unlock everything. With the current system it's really not worth my time to try and unlock those ultra-rares. Of course, once people unlock everything then the only reason to stay around is for fun, and with only one game mode the fun dies quickly.

Like I said earlier in the thread I wouldn't mind the cards so much if they prioritised cards for class's that are either not unlocked or that don't have full customisation options.

Agreed.

Character cards should not be allowed in "Spectre-" and "Premium Spectre-Packs", if /or when the respective character is at lvl 20 + gold (appearance), thats like someone is cheating on you /us.

Note: In 20 PSP´s I bought through game earned credits I´ve got 1 N7 weapon, in 10 PSP´s bought through "BioWare Points" I´ve got 3 N7 weapons / weapon level upgrade(s).

It can´t be possible we get over and over something we have no use for, it goes into nowhere it is equal ZERO, or does Bioware "save" the character XP cards somewhere, so when we promote a charcter we already have the cards ready to level up the lvl 1 character?
NO!
So stop it!
It is like scamming us!

Rather have uncommon's drop, equipment or anything not maxed than a maxed character card.

If they split character cards between appearance cards and experience point cards it would help a great deal. Treat the Appearance Cards the same way as Weapon Cards, namely you don't receive them for fully unlocked classes and then flag the Experience Point Cards in the same way as Respec Cards, so you receive a set amount of experience points that are banked and can be allocated against whichever character the player sees fit.  Set a one character per card usage requirement so you don't have to mess around with split exp cards, if overflow exp is lost then so be it.  It's still worlds better than the less than optimal system we have currently.

Several very good ideas there.

I'm not opposed to character cards being tossed out there after maxing every character/weapon/mod/gear item in that class, but until they are all maxed you shouldn't keep getting character cards for characters that are maxed out.  It's very annoying.  It takes several hundred hours of gameplay to max out everything in the best of situations, and this just drags it out much longer.  Some of us would like to play with ultra-rares, and have all characters available without having to spend all our free time for two years getting there.

or at least we get character cards we don't have yet. I can't count how many turian sentinels and krogan soldiers I have when I use neither.

Agree, but it would even be ok if you get character cards for characters you already have maxed out, only if you have maxed out everything.
No repetition until full unlocks.

100% agree with this idea.

I would be happy to get uncommon gear instead of character cards that I have already maxed out. Well I would prefer rare gear but if it means a guaranteed chance of getting something new/upgraded I'll take uncommon unlocks.

Yeah i mean i don't mind the random weapons and chracters, it adds a little excitment. But directly buying the weapons/characters with the credits you earn wouldn't be a bad idea once you maxed everything out or maybe reach a certain N7 level (As like a 2nd option instead of buying random packs). I totally agree that it's a scam once you've maxed everything out that you get repeat after repeat. When the DLC dropped I had about a little less then a million to drop that day. I got the salarian inflitrator 4 packs in a row, didn't get any of the new characters till the next day. Thats bascailly it, I get the two geths and SI chracter cards over and over again. I wish those character cards would stockpile like equipment and you could use the XP whenever, or even better, you could gift a player who doesn't have that character unlocked.
