This needs to be hotfixed immediately. I've gotten like 20+ quarian engineers & tons of other character cards I don't need or want.

Just replace the character cards with an extra +5 consumable or equipment, once all the customization options are unlocked.

Why can't the system look at what you already have and NOT give it to you again? If a character/class is open at all, why would the system give it to you again?

Veteran Packs only give me character cards now, there's no point in buying them.

For instance, if you have all 152 rares you could have a 25% chance to get ultra rares in Spectre packs. supposedly the initial chance is a 5% chance, so it'd gain a very minimal amount each time towards you getting a potential Ultra Rare. Meanwhile at 76 rares it'd be a 15% chance, this would keep the chance low but prevent people from being in my situation.
I have 142 currently out of the 152 rares (110 for weapons, 30 for characters, 12 for equipment) and it's insane. I have 6 ultra rares out of the 70... 6!!! And I buy nothing but spectre / spectre premium packs. (I only have 125 out of 195 uncommons and 140 out of 146 for commons)
Hell, best solution, an N7 Pack with at least 1 Ultra Rare for 150,000 Cr, and anyone who has the CE or all Ultra rares has a 10% chance of getting a N7 weapon. That will still make the required amount to max out all UR's being 10,500,000 (if you never get a double pack) which, unlike Bioware will tell you, is more than a gold match of work.

Character cards were pretty cool the first few times. Now the RNG feels completely out of hand. Since yesterday I've spent 1.8 million (Much of it saved over the last week) On premium spectre packs.
I don't have all my gold weapons to level 10 yet. Average is level 7-8. I could use a new Carnifex or Geth Plasma Shotgun. I don't have the black widow or Javelin yet either.
Out of those 18 packs, I got 1 weapon, in total (a scorpion). The other 17 packs contained nothing but character cards, two in each. Often just the same one x2. 35 character cards. All my characters have been maxed out for weeks.
I feel like someone got a decimal wrong when programing drop chances.
The probability of characters vs. weapons/equipment feels way out of whack.

Let's be perfectly clear about one thing... The system does not need to be fixed. It is not broken. It is working exactly the way it is supposed to.
What we want is for the system to be changed.

Weapon Mods- I dont know... Ive been playing multiplayer a lot, buying a lot of packs, and I still havent recived rating 1 with some mods like the shotgun shreader mod, the enhanced sniper scope and others and I know other people are in a similar boat. Need to look at how they are selected for the packs and reassess.
Weapons- Fine as is, thank you.
Character Respecs- Either change the boarder to gray or make them less likely to appear. Ive got more than I need/want and that is after using some just for the heck of it.

Those are great idea's!
And should be maybe how they worked originally.
But do you agree that the current character card system needs altering?
