I didn't even notice it til it was pointed out...once you get different armor it probably will be different..maybe?

I think it's kinda trendy anyways? :)

Or they could have made the bodies seamless, modders did it in Oblivion.

I kinda like it*blushs* just attach a long chain to it and Im good to go^_^ *blushs* ahem sorry if that was EW to some lol

You, I like^_^

I agree that's prolly a neck seam cover, and that it shoulda been handled differently, like a simple necklace, or i dunno, an actual armoured neck guard<_< (but that would be too practical I guess)

Thankz

I really doubt it's on all or most the armour in the game, so I wouldn't be too concerned if you don't like it and for a dwarf commoner it does make sense Dwarf nobles do treat them like animals after all.

I dont think you should be complaining about a piece of starter gear that you'll get rid of within two hours or so.

The problem would have appeared then in the romance love scenes. In Oblvion gaming community, some moder came up with very beautiful necklaces and collars to hide the seams. I hope it will be the same here.

We've got a lot of good modders amongst the bioware fans. I'm sure they won't disappoint. ^_^

Maybe It's just to make the upper half of the body seem less 'naked'. Like an accessory...

If this were the case, I would think a necklace woulda done the job better. The seam explanation looks the most plausible to me so far.

I dunno bout the 'skin as part of armor' explanation either. This is the 21st century, shouldn't need such tricks anymore.
If it is indeed true, then the midriff exposing female light armor is gonna stop bein hot & start bein a little creepy. Can ya imagine goin into an armor shop & browsing through light armors that have a female midriff belly 'image' on them & trying not to be creeped/wierded out? Image IPB

Well it's supposed to be an illusion and in the role playing enviroment it is just skin :) , however let me illustrate:

In this image you can see what the back of females are supposed to look like with the mage's robes and probably what it is like naked:

Nice curved back

In this image you can see another elf woman with the dalish outfit that shows a bare middle and look, there's no curve in fact if you compare it to other women with full armor it's the same flatness and heavyness:

No more curve

As for the neck collar as seam concealer usually a seam concealer is right on top of the seam directly on the skin, this is formed just like armor collars and the mage's robe collar:

Collar is part of the 'armor', look at the space and difference of skin tones.

I here by stand by my claim. But this will all get more evident when someone looks at the meshes in detail.
