There are a couple points in the game where items will actually physically disappear during a cutscene.
So far, I've seen a whole character vanish, only to reappear in the next shot (it was interesting to see Shepard carry nothing to safety)
a rock, a kind of important rock, at least to that particular scene went poof, and never came back.
and Tali's mask at one point was vanishing from time to time.

I don't know if there is a fix for this, but it is getting really distracting. can someone offer assistance?
