Usually go Synthesis.
I know it has its issues, but I like the overall idea of it
So which ending did a majority of you choose?

Destroy.
The reapers need to be destroyed. If they continue to exist they pose a future threat.
Plus I could not break my promise to Tali. I was coming back to her and we will find a way to build her a house. Maybe I can find a use for Garrus with his calibrations too!

While I believe the IT now, I didn't then. I still chose destroy. My logic was if Bioware was gonna give me these crappy endings I would at least take everything with me.

Control. The reasons I went this route.......
1. My Shepard would not commit genocide or murder a friend (Destroy)
2. My Shepard believes in free will and self-determination. If Space Hitler wants his master race, let the little bastard try and do it himself. I won't be his goddamned tool. (Synthesis)
For me and my character, it was a railroaded choice, playing upon the moral and ethical leanings of my character.
However, in the end, the Reapers and Space Hitler got their moral victory. No matter what color you picked.

See, my whole thing about picking "Destroy" is that I wouldn't want EDI to die, as well as the Geth because I had taken the time to understand them and worked hard to secure peace between them and the Quarians. And then after telling the Geth, "hey, it's good now bros" I'm gonna end up killing them anyway. When I chose synthesis i figured, hey everyone lives and there is peace, but seeing some other players' logic about the endings, Destroy seems to be the best to me, except for killing off all synthetic life forms

Synthesis cuz GO CYBORGS!

Destroy, no way the reapers get to fly off after all they've done and me playing through 3 games building up to destroying them. Plus as i never *see* EDI and the Geth die I just assume it never happened
. Plus Shep lives.

Not the once I picked.
First, I tried to shoot the starchild thing.
It didn't zap me in response.
I looked around for a bit for other options.
Eventually I realised it was door a, b, c or 'occupy catalyst'.
I then chose to shuffle towards the 'destroy' option.
Freedom, at any cost.
...and that seemed to be the only one that even gave a chance.
Ultimately, I felt railroaded to a decision, but not by circumstance or consequence.
That would have been fine.
That I would have expected, to have my choices curtailed by earlier mistakes.
No.
I was railroaded by narritive constraint that was strangely at odds with degree of freedom and control that had hitherto being assigned to the player.
If this turns out to be indoctrination theory?
It's a masterstroke, albeit one which may prove to be as devisive as the current ending.
If it turns out this was the planned ending?
The it's a damp squib of an ending when placed next to the quality of what came before.

Didn't matter. Their all same explosions anyway, and choices had little meaning behind them. All i can do with them now is speculate them in this stupid forum.

Control. Shepard still lives, in a way. Since he controls the Reapers, he can repair the Relays. Shep can also go pick up his teammates on that jungle planet, hopefully.

The destroy ending. Cuz, well, that was supposed to be the entire point to the struggle against the Reaps. You know, to kill 'em.
So apperently the Geth and EDI died, big whoop. They were made, then they were unmade, and they can be made again

Destroy. My Shepard stayed true to her goal and did not believe in anything Starchild said. Plus we never see the Geth die and EDI is still alive, so ya. Destory is the way to go. As to quote a famous turian who tried to kill you in ME.
It is the only logical conclusion.

Destroy
even if I like the geth, and I wish they could live. Reapers must die, whatever the cost.
