I came to destroy so i destroyed. Didn't really listen to the child at this time. Didn't care.
And i didn't know the existence of the IT theory.
So which ending did a majority of you choose?

I chose Destroy before the IT was even known,
Controlling the reapers would have been to risky and I would have died in the process
Synthesis seem that it would destroy diversity and jumping into a big light ray felt like certain death
Destroying all synthetic life seem like the most logical choice as only the geth would have been sacrificed and it seem that it was the only chance my Shepard had to live.
My shepard fought for himself but help those he can, but he would always look out for number 1 in the end.

I picked Destroy because it was the only one that did what Shep had set out to do in ME1:ahandsomeshark wrote...
I'd guess most people picked Destroy for the breathing scene.
Destroy the Reapers.

I was honestly leaning towards synthesis when I first heard the choices. I thought it was an interesting idea and would have been worthy of Shep's sacrifice... except, I couldn't understand how it would work and it was never wholly explained. That broke the concept for me, in my mind, and I couldn't embrace what didn't make sense (storywise).
I also wasn't about to take Tim's idea, after arguing against it the whole time (call me stubborn), so... I picked destroy. I felt terrible about Legion, and the geth, and EDI, but "dead reapers" was what we set out to accomplish and I felt like that was the only fitting end. If synthesis didn't require lots of speculation, I wouldn't even have minded that Shep had to die (even though I had been desperately hoping for a LI reunion at the end).
And no, just to make it clear, I am not a proponent of the indoctrination theory.

I opted for the cherry flavored ending. The Starkid didn't seem to be the most trustworthy character, so I just sort of crossed my fingers he was wrong about EDI and the Geth being destroyed.

'Main' Shep chose Destroy.
Nearly finished Renegade Shep, who I'm pretty sure is going Control.
Paragon Shep... I dunno yet.

Synthesis.
Control was out because it didn't change the fundamental equation of the Reapers and their Cycle, though it was somewhat appealing because the Catalyst clearly did not like Control, showing you a depiction of TIM chosing that path, which most players would reject out of hand.
Destroy was out because it'd kill the Geth, and was obviously puffed up as the "mainstream" option because it shows beloved Anderson chosing this path. Also, letting Reaper Master Intelligence trick you into shooting your own superweapon is retarded.
Who builds a weapon only to blow it up? Pretty sure firing your pistol into the control interface was not an intended input feature.
Synthesis seemed the most correct.

My first time, without knowing the endigns I chose green.
I didn't choose green because I particularly like it. The other two options just sounded terrible and contradictory.
So in the final minute I am going to side with TIM? That makes no fracking sense.
So in the final minute I'm gonna undue everything I did previously and destroy EDI and the geth, both of which had some of the most transcendent plots in the game?
So green it was...and I was hit with a big dose of space magic.

Destroy. I choose to believe that everything you see after is a hallucination (not necessarily Indoc, but a product of a dying or near death brain), so it's what your Shep believes s/he will see. If you choose destroy, you don't believe you will see EDI because you believe you have destroyed her. At the same time, you shouldn't be gasping away in the wreckage of London, either. Sooooooo, yeah, anytime I end the game, I pick destory because it doesn't make any sense and therefore can't be real.

I choose synthesis becouse it made everybody more advanced and it was only way to stop this never ending war between synthetics and organic lifeforms.
Only ending I didn't understand was controlling endings. It dosent make sence that if Shepard dies like 5 seconds after starting to control Reapers why they wont attack again after Shepard is dead and nobody is not controlling them? What is purpose of controlling Reapers if you can only control them like 5 seconds?

I stopped my game at the final rush to the conduit when Harbinger shows up. My Shepard has refused to play the Catalyst's game and now she is forever holding the line with Marauder Shields.

I went Synthesis.
Yes me and my Shepard had a soft-spot for Saren and he kind of persuaded me joining the two to work together as one would indeed be the best way for everyone.

I picked the one where the combined fleets of the entire galaxy are stranded around Earth and the alliance breaks down as each battles the others for the limited resources available on the devastated planet. The Quarians and Turians first resort to cannibalism, and then starved to death. The Krogan...well you don't want to know what the Krogan did.

Hmm, so I can choose synthesis and become Saren, I can choose control and become the Illusive Man, or I can commit mass-genocide of an entire race killing far more than the reapers have in all 3 games...
The best choice is to leave him standing there, turn off the console, and hope he comes up with something else while you go play a better game.

I chose the Red Destroy ending before I heard about the Indoctrination Theory. The other two didn't make sense to me. Control didn't seem like a paragon choice to me (I play mostly Paragon) and synthesis seemed like I was appeasing the Reapers. Besides Anderson would have chosen Destroy and he's never led Shepard astray.

I chose destroy. Not because of the breathing scene (It's like 2 seconds, not that important anyway) and I didn't know about it at the time. It just seemed like "my choice" more than the others. But I chose control on another playthrough.
