multiplayer since the day the game was made available for me to play

you:I get constantly disconnected from games, sometimes after 1
minute, sometimes after 10 minutes

you:Sometimes not at all

you:I have opened all my ports in my router, as I have done for
battlefield 3
you:and I have no other problems with other games, like BF3
you:Hmm, everyone in the map including the artificial enemies stop
walking / shooting
you:and I get a message on the top left of my screen saying
"trying to reconnect" or something like that
you:then I get dropped of the game saying that I got
"disconnected"
you:On top of that, I get punished by losing all the stuff that I
have purchased on my account, for example if you pay to buy weapon
modifications
you:and get disconnected, you lose both the attachments and anything
you have earned
you:So, what is going on?
Adhiraj:Which platform (Xbox 360, PC, PS3) are you playing the game
on?
you:PC / Windows 7 SP1 HP x64 / No firewalls or anti-virus software

Adhiraj:I would suggest that you first try ending the background tasks
running on your system. For this please follow the steps listed below – 1. Hold
down the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys at the same time 2. Click the
"Processes" tab. 3. Click on the gray bar in the middle column that
says User Name to sort by user name. 4. Do NOT select anything for SYSTEM,
LOCAL SERVICE, or NETWORK SERVICE. 5. Click on anything besides EXPLORER and
TASKMGR for your User Name or other user names. 6. Click on END PROCESS 7.
Repeat these steps until only explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe are open for this
user profile.
Adhiraj:I would also suggest that you remove the temporary files stored
on your system. For this please follow the steps listed below – 1. Double click
on "My Computer" 2. Double click on the C: drive 3. Double click on the
"Windows" folder. 4. Double click on the "Temp" folder. 5.
Hold the "CTRL" key and tap the "A" key to select all. 6.
Tap the "Delete" key on your keyboard and accept the "Are you
sure you want to delete these files" prompt. 7. Once done, press and hold the
Windows key and the letter R 8. In the Run box type: %temp% and press Enter 9.
When the folder containing all temporary files opens press and hold the CTRL
button and the letter A to highlight all files in that folder 10. Press the
Delete key. 11. When prompted to verify if the files should be deleted, click
Yes. 12. Any files that cannot be removed can be safely ignored.
Adhiraj:Games developed before the release of Windows 7/vista can face
problems while running on this operating system. I would suggest that you try
and run your game in Windows XP Compatibility Mode, for this please follow the
steps listed below: - 1. Right-click the game's shortcut available on your
Desktop and choose Properties. 2. In the Properties Panel, click the
Compatibility tab. 3. Place a check in the Compatibility Mode checkbox. 4.
Select Windows XP (Service Pack 2/3) in the drop down list. 5. Click Apply and
then Ok to save your changes.

with Battlefield 3, none of them worked

Run the task manager (Ctrl-alt-delete)
Go to the "Process tab" in task manager
Right click on Origin.exe
You will get the option of "set affinity", click on it
You wil get CPU 0, CPU 1, CPU 2 and CPU 3 options.
You need to select CPU 1.
Click on "Apply" and then "OK"
After this please launch the game from Origin.
Then you will be automatically redirected to Battlelog
I would suggest that you try temporarily disabling any firewalls you have
running on your system: - • Software firewalls can simply be turned off,
usually by right clicking on the icons near your clock and selecting
"Close" or "Exit". • Hardware firewalls should be bypassed
by going from the computer directly to your modem, skipping any router you may
have.
Please try power-cycling your modem. For this, switch off your modem and leave
it un-powered for about 2 minutes then re-start the modem, this should power
cycle your modem.

no difference, also Battlelog is not related to Mass Effect 3, they are
different games

Battlefield 3 and other games, restarting the modem a dozen times also made no

the left.
6. After the trace route has completed, click the Poll button, which
is two buttons to the right of the Trace Route button.
7. Let it send around 100 or so packets then click Stop Poll.
8. Click Edit and select Copy.
9. Click the Start button (Windows button for Microsoft Windows
Vista) on the Windows Taskbar.
10. Select All Programs.
11. Select Accessories.
12. Click Notepad.
13. From the menu toolbar, click Edit and click Paste.
14. From the menu toolbar, click File and click Save.
15. Repeat steps 2 through 14 so that you have two separate files for us
to compare and review.
16. Once you have saved both the files, click on the Attach file link below the
chat window and send both the files to me for review.
