So, this is a thread for those of us, who play on the PS3, and are feeling fed up with the lack of help and support we've been recieving when it comes getting help in any aspect of Mass Effect 3.

Single Player:

Various issues have been left unanswered and ignored - we're constantly told by EA to ask Bioware, or essnetually given two fingers and told we don't give a damn about you.

Multiplayer:

As things stand, due to the various "issues", we've not been able to take part in either operations Goliath or Raptor. We were, included in operation Fortress, which gave a 25% EXP boost, but that fed on the events from
Operation: Goliath, and in some ways, felt kinda hollow as a result.

Until this problem is fixed, surely Bioware could provide something just to cover things over until they finally get
things sorted out, such as special packs, or another boost of some kind to give us an incentive to play online over the weekend period to at least make us feel like we're doing something to help the community.

The fact that we're being kept in the dark, with Sony, Bioware and EA all telling us the fault lies with the others and providing nothing in the way of a solid answer, or showing any proof, is really starting to wear thin.

Bioware - please give us a solid answer, and proof, that things are being worked on and you're not just forgetting about us.

General Forum:

Having looked around the forums, and the various threads, we're practically ignored by Bioware when it comes to answering a simple question. EA's customer support towards us, from what I've experianced first hand, and heard about from others, has generally been very poor, and on many occasions, rude.

All we want is to have our questions answered, we like your games, that's why we're willing to pay our hard earned cash on them on release. Surely the least you can do is give us help and support when we need it.

About the single player:

BW is working on it and they are reading what people post.

About the multiplayer:

I was searching on twitter for some answers today and there will be a update later this week about why ps3 couldn't join this event. I'm going too look for that twitter message again and post it here.

And if you want BW too answer most questions you should pm them (there is this guy that does not sleep so you should try him). Mass Effect is also very active and helpfull on twitter you should try there. But I agree that they should answer more questions in threads.

PS: Writing this on my phone so I answer really slowly and with grammar errors, sorry for that.

The twitter message from @masseffect: https://twitter.com/#!/masseffect/status/186771627676147712 hope it shows up right.

Sadly, when it comes to PM's and bioware staff, I've recieved nothing in a response, despite sending PM's to multiple staff about the same thing.

We read these forums and we are aware of these issues. We simply cannot reply to every thread or address each individual post about the same issue. We try our darnest to do just this but with the amount of posts that are left on BSN everyday it's just not possible to personally reply to each of them.

While I do understand the frustration if you have a question that's burning deep do not hesitate to PM me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

If this is true, then why in 1 thread on the Xbox forums is there a post with more responses from a bioware rep, than total responses from bioware reps in this forum.  You are the one person I see actually posting.    I've tried to be positive, but the extreme lack of communication from Bioware to PS3 users is getting a tad bit more than frustrating.  It actually made me take the time to do this...  That should tell you something.

Ii'm not one to argue off of appearances. So I did some fact checking on my own. Here are the results:
PS3 Forum
22 responses to 422 topics

Xbox 360 forum
121 responses to 961 topics
these 2 being the most active. The first having more Bioware responses than the Entire PS3 forum combined
Grissom
Black Screen on Startup

These numbers are current as of 2:42pm EST 3/31/2012

Yes I actually went and counted your posts instead of being able to participate in Operation Raptor.  I understand why people feel PS3 users are trash in bioware's eyes.  I don't personaly feel that way yet...but it's getting there.

Thanks for the thread, OP. I have also tried sending detailed PMs and the response I got was only that they can't talk about their relationship with Sony and that they are working with Sony to enable the multiplayer events. That was the response I got this morning. Sadly no additional clarification or insight into what is going on.

An official statement from one of the companies (EA/Bioware/Sony) is in order I think.

I think I'm just going to trade in my PS3 and not offer Sony my business anymore if they are the reason my game can't play as well on their system as it does on PC/360, unless we learn soon what the real problem is, who is responsible, when it will be fixed, why we weren't informed about the issue until the events started running, and how they plan to apologize for the information blackout and exclusion from these events.

(Anyone got a "where" to throw in, go right ahead.) Image IPB

Let us just be patient, if there was indeed a news feed from other official channels that a patch is on the way to fix this issue on the PS3, that is enough for me to know that a fix will be ready. Give them time as they have a plenty of issues to resolve one of those is the ending. For now I am going to enjoy the game and apply the temporary fix (press the PS logo button) for the citadel black screen which seems to work, which I have read from the threads here.

Not to start a flame war, but this is exactly why I have a problem with people complaining about the ending. Sure, we may not all agree on whether or not the ending was satisfactory, but it wasn't *broken*. I would much prefer that Bioware focus their time and energy on resolving issues that prevent me playing the game I have.

It's just a silly pack with silly guns.

If everyone adopted a defeatist attitude as I, the world would be a better place.

EA's own customer service told me to post here for help and for customer service.

Are you serious?  ****** on the damn ending man.  Fix the game so that it can even be played is the first and foremost issue that is relevant to all us PS3 users here.  Plenty of issues to resolve my a**.  They released a crappy buggy game ending freezes game and that is absolutely unacceptable.  That should be top priority #1 period.  People out there cant play the fu**king game.  That is a pretty damn big problem.  It will be one month this game has been out tomorrow and we still dont have a patch to fix the game so I can play the game.  That is BULLS**T any way you slice it.
Apply the temp fix?  WTF?  That is something that us players should never have to worry about doing EVER.  The fact that fans have to rig their game in such a way as to even be able to try to get through broken parts is something so BULLS**T I cant even begin on how to figure out how to describe it.
You should be just as pissed about this as others are.  Dont worry though Ill be that pissed for both of us and then some.
Fix the fu**ing game so I can play it Bioware.  Then you can worry about fixing your BS ending crap.
