I say this as a collectors edition owner of most of Biowares games and a fan since their humble beginnings to put that into context.

Honestly, will probably never play a ME game again. Probably just a bit of ME MP from time to time as it is I can't start another playthrough with my 3 other Sheps... It just sucks.

Other than be gravely disappointed, not much...other than NOT be inclined to buy any of the DLC for the product.

The ending was garbage...period. At best it was very poor writing. I can accept it for what it was, but it kills wanting to bother playing ME3 again and again like ME and ME2 did.

Likewise, if the first DLC isn't a release of the "real" ending, why would I bother getting any other DLC for ME3? I know how it ends...and it hardly seems worth it to get more content for a game that leaves you feeling like some random stranger walked up and kicked you in the family jewels.

Frankly, I don't even understand WHY you can continue playing the game after it ends. What is there to do? It makes no sense with how the game currently ends to be able to continue playing afterward.

It is that then. I pack my things and leave earlier than I had hoped. Mass Effect is the only reason why I am still a big Bioware fan.

I'll delete ME3 and start a new ME 1 + 2 playthrough and simply pretend ME3 was never made.

Be upset, and will only buy their games once it gets to bargain bin prices. No other developer right now has created characters that stick with you as much as Bioware characters. Despite the ending, no one creates a story as addictive as Bioware. No developer gives you romance choices for a female player like Bioware does or as much attention to details to female gamers as Bioware does.

They do so many things right that I can't just completely abandon them.

No DLC and trade the game in to get Witcher 2 April 17th...and never preorder another bioware game again

After that, put them on my shelf, facing way, and  I'll never touch them again. Can't return them.

Said it before, i'll say it again. Walk away from Bioware, and never look back. They don't want to make a decent ending? I don't see any reason to give them my money.

I don't want BioWare's writers restricted in the future to creating "everything goes back to normal" endings because of a whining wing of the hardcore fanbase.

I will not lie to myself and will probably buy the next bioware game anyways. I know a lot of the fanboys like to claim they will not buy another bioware product but the truth is we all know they will. Maybe its just me but honestly im not really that upset about the ending, i think the 90+ hours of good gaming more than makes up for the last 20min.

I will take the game back to game stop and then when Da3 is released will either not buy it at all or wait to see what the fans say about it(not pro reviewers).

With the direction Bioware seems to be taking I don't think I'll keep buying their games. Definitely not at launch and at full price. If they improve (not change) the ending in a timely fashion and without charging us extra for it I might reconsider my stance.
I think they might so the way of Westwood and other fine developers devoured by EA.

In this case no...it really doesn't.

I can't speak for others but after DA2 spat in the face of DA:O fans and the blatant rushed garbage of an ending ME3 got, i'm done.

Sad but true.
