We should catalog all the names of the people swearing no more BioWare products if the ending isn't changed, then ask them whats up when we see them on DA3 threads. :D

Shrug. Worse things happen at sea.

Probably wait for customer reviews of DA3 to come in before deciding whether or not to buy it, though. I do that for most games anyway; ME was pretty much the exception (together with Arkham City, which happily WAS 100% awesome).

You make it sound so final. :(

buy DA3 used on PS3, and only play it through once (I played DA1 through 5 times, ME1 through 4 times, ME2 through 6 times).

It's not really the endings that bother me that much that i would go cry and all that..
But mass effect is more than a game for me. For a lot of people i think.

It's more the fact that i can't be with my LI's anymore :(

I don't get what some of you would have Bioware do with the Savior of the Galaxy? Where would the story go if Shepard survived - Emperor Shepard? What challenges would you folks buy into that he could get up to after The Reapers? When you finished ME1 you had to know where this was going to go if one of the games finished off the Reapers - surely you didn't picture Shepard on the island sipping fruity drinks.

Once I'd played ME1&2 I knew how they were going to end and still did the DLCs and buying ME3 I took Bioware at their word that ME3 was the final confrontation with the Reapers. That means I knew the thing was ending - ending, not to be continued with further adventures of Shepard and whatever version of the Normandy. Yes, I invested in the characters, I was supposed to, and yes, I was sad to come to the end of those investments. That is what I bought, pre-ordered.

I will not purchase future Bioware games. Plain and simple.

Bioware is the only developer that I never worried about. I always preordered, I've got every game since KOTOR. I always buy CE versions when available. I bought the ME series, and DAO on both PC and 360. I bought every DLC for each version I owned. I even got the CE version of SWTOR, and I don't even like MMO's. I never had a second thought about buying anything with the BioWare label. I always had complete trust that, even at their worst, I would still get an enjoyable game.

If they don't get this right, I'm going to lose that trust. Honestly, I don't have a lot of hope that they'll be able to fix this. I hope they do, I hope we get something brilliant that's worthy of the series. But I'm not holding my breath. If they don't, they'll become like any other developer. I'll wait for the game to come out, read the player reviews, maybe even wait for it to come down in price before buying. It's really sad, because frankly, other than a few specific games (Skyrim, Batman: Arkham series, a few Final Fantasy games), there aren't any other games out there I like other than Bioware.

Life as usual. Keep playing some MP, complete my current Shep, wait and see for DLC, play some other games. Buy ME3 for ps3 when prices drop (because free trophies).

I will drop by every now and then and marvel at the rage on BSN for months to come (because let's face it, everybody who says "I'll leave and never come back" will still linger here... and buy Bioware products).

Stop buying their products, something I was already considering after they decided to make a Prothean to sell as DLC.

I'll move on and leave BioWare behind. Before I do that, I'll uninstall all the BW games from my hard drive - KOTOR, Never Winter Nights, ME 1, 2, 3, DA:O and DA2.

I'm pretty sure Bathesda, CD Projekt Red, and Blizzard will be happy to take my business.

If BioWare doesn't find some way to address the ending, I will not purchase any ME3 DLC, nor will I invest in the Mass Effect franchise in the future.

Likely I would actively avoid future non-DA BioWare releases.

This. There is also an Alliance shirt, overpriced, but nice thing to have from the game. I won't buy it. M.

Then it will simply be the last game I buy from Bioware. I no longer purchace Ubisoft games because they started engaging in business practices that I do not agree with, so this will be no different.

Last (and only), Bioware game I've ever bought was the Mass Effect series. so if they ruin it, cya Bioware, I'll go to CDPR and Bethesda.

Yeah, I would probably stop purchasing their products. The series deserves a worthy ending (even better: endings :)
