 How will you react?

What if it starts with Shepard walking up while being dragged away by the conduit by a solider or squadmate. It will be fuzy and we see Harbinger being fired on by fleet ships and ground forces as it fights back...It will be disorienting and will fade to black to later have Shepard wake up somewhere else....Then you go on with the game...to finish the fight or to sabotage the crucible as an indoctrinated agent based on your choice at the crucible.

I'd have my belief in what they actually planned, proved correct....

Some people are just mad that they got fooled...

Some are mad that they bought an incomplete game....and have to buy the real ending.....or not....maybe they'll release it through the Alliance network for free(they've done it before)

I'll gladly pay for more of Sheps story....I was ready to finish the fight, but part of me didn't want it to be over just yet....

Some people will complain because they don't have the internet to download whatever Bioware might release....well to those people, I say: get with the times....if you don't have the internet, then get a job and pay for it....if you're a kid, and your parents don't have the internet, well you shouldn't even be playing the game because you're under the age of 17

I'd be happy with it.

Let's face it anything (almost) is better than what we have right now.

And IT does have some decent evidence so wouldn't seem to out of place.

As long as it includes a complete, playable ending to the game that makes sense, fine.

I'd play it and be happy if the ending isn't awful, but my faith will not be restored (although to be fair nothing will do that at this point).

I would take back every mean thing I said about the ending, and I would sleep with the game box under my pillow in hopes that the Bioware fairy would be pleased.

Seriously, if the actaully ran with the IT, I would be really impressed beause it would be the first "twist ending" in gaming that actaully worked.

Sadly I'm far too realistic to think anything like that will happen.

If it is executed well enough it could be epic, and it would set the mark high as far as game endings go.

I've said it before, so much depends on this "fix" or "clarify" DLC, the teeter on the edge, falling one way leads them to the best ending of the best gaming series, that of which others will unsuccesfully strive to match for decades, or they will go down in history, not for their genius in ME1-3 but for the controversy surrounding their ending.

Bioware is in a position to write their legacy on this franchise, which option will they choose?

I'll be all sorts of happy, and I'm honestly hoping this is the case. Fingers crossed.

it would depend on how they finish the game. Just a DLC saying "IT is correct" isn't enough.
Though the Fact that you can't defeat the Indoctrination without MP means that i would hate it.

But then what will happen if you chose one of the "wrong" choices?

Critical mission failure?

No, I imagine those ending(s) would just be the same.

I would play through the game a second time. However, if it's not free I want to see everybody's reaction first.

4 days and we'll know.

I agree, depending on the implementation, IT could be the best ending ever made to any game.

I will see your two copies of the game, and raise you a second Xbox!  My fiance and I bought two copies of the game and a second Xbox so we wouldn't have to fight over who gets a chance to play.  None of which will be exiting through a window.
