If it is executed well enough it could be epic, and it would set the mark high as far as game endings go.

I've said it before, so much depends on this "fix" or "clarify" DLC, the teeter on the edge, falling one way leads them to the best ending of the best gaming series, that of which others will unsuccesfully strive to match for decades, or they will go down in history, not for their genius in ME1-3 but for the controversy surrounding their ending.

Bioware is in a position to write their legacy on this franchise, which option will they choose?

This.....and I think they may have planned it....which would be way better than "fixing it"....

I'm very convinced by the indoc theory, but I'd love it if Bioware throws us a curve ball. I wouldn't want it to be too predictable.

If I have to pay for it, I will do it, but I will certainly express plenty of disappointment in their continued greed, especially under these circumstances.

Some of you think that those of us who like the ending as it is told, without the noxious delusions offered by IT, would be mad that we were "fooled." No, BioWare has clearly stated that IT is false in the epilogue. If they turned around and said it was true, they would be going back on their own statements. IT means removing the ending and replacing it, not clarifying it.

Another person who doesn't understand how I.T. works. Nothing would be "removed" nothing would be "replaced", it would just be a continuation from the "shepard wakes up" scene.

If you like the space magic:wizard::wizard::wizard: endings then feel free to not pick up the DLC, just like you didn't have to pick up "ARRIVAL", but if you did, you would have seen just how viable I.T. really is.

BW never stated it was false...Ever. If you think that, then I would like a link to that.

Also, to say it's silly mean to ignore these facts about the story...

fact 1. People are indoctrinated by being near reaper tech.
fact 2. People that at are under the process of indoctrination here whispers.
fact 3.Shepard is near alot of reaper tech through out ME1 and ME2.

Apparently they do.

There are three types of indoctrination.1. Physical, this would include husks, marauders, banshees, etc. It is the short term version.

2. Mental, this would include Benezia, the derelict reaper scientists, Dr. Kenson, etc.

3. Combination of 1 and 2, Which includes Saren, TIM, and Kai Leng.
Shepard would either fall under 2 or 3 depending on if you think his implants would affect the process or not. Thessia VI would probably only be able to detect reaper implants, not psychological states.

Some are mad that they bought an incomplete game....and have to buy the real ending.....or not....maybe they'll release it through the Alliance network for free(they've done it before)

I'll gladly pay for more of Sheps story....I was ready to finish the fight, but part of me didn't want it to be over just yet....

Some people will complain because they don't have the internet to download whatever Bioware might release....well to those people, I say: get with the times....if you don't have the internet, then get a job and pay for it....if you're a kid, and your parents don't have the internet, well you shouldn't even be playing the game because you're under the age of 17

Second, I would be happy. I've said before, I think IT is pretty valid, but I've also kept an open mind that maybe the ending is face value and it just didn't work out the way they mysteriously thought it would. Heck, I don't care if they steal the IT and use it even if they never intended for it to be that way. I will HAPPILY play along if we get a complete and satisfaying ending. I am willing to believe I may have been indoctrinated without my knowledge or consent...and I love it. I hope that's what we're waiting on.Time will tell...

They can do better than IT, and I would be rather upset that they took the lazy way out. They can attempt to fix the ending, or they can replace it entirely, but neither option would benefit from keeping the current ending in as an extended dream sequence.

Oh but it's so much more than a "dream sequence", it's a mental challenge for the player, it's a test of shepards resolve, it's yet another choice that will factor in to the real ending, it's not a dream, it's a forced hallucination that forces Shepard and you  the player to question everything in the game up until now. The "Eureka" moment I had when I realized what was going on will be hard to replicate ever again. When I realized that me (the player) was being indoctrinated, the fourth wall came smashing down like never before. They can't do better then I.T.... I.T. is where the art is held.
