I killed all the enemies outside Redcliffe Castle and the cutscene will not activate, I don't have a save before it did this and I am scared I may have to restart the whole game due to something out of my control.

This encounter is a bit buggy for me too. Did you kill the Ogre Alpha? That's the last enemy you need to fight for that battle. I have to run around a bit, sometimes right up to the gate exit itself before the next wave of enemies will show up.



Do you also not have any autosaves? IIRC the game autosaves at certain points so you shouldn't be too far behind if you do have to restart.

I left the area and came back and it overwrote the auto-save, sadly I don't think I can recover.  I don't know if I ever killed the ogre.

I swear if this is not fixed in the patch Bioware will NEVER get another dime out of me, this is coming from someone who has bought almost all Bioware games since Baulder's Gate 2. This problem has gone on too long and too little has been done to fix it.

I had this problem, I reloaded and it worked fine (and faster) afterward.

Sadly my save is long after it happened, so all I can hope for is a patch to fix it, I've been running around the area for like two hours, nothing happens.

yeah i have this same problem but i didn't figure it out yet. it kinda sucks.

Save and reload because its a memory leak keeping the Ogre from spawning.

EDIT: On another note, I just checked my codex as I am in the final battle right now, and the codex before said that I killed both generals, but not that I am in the palace district, it is saying I did not kill the general there, though I have the Corruption helm on to prove sadly otherwise.

If the Ogre hasnt appeared yet, save the game then return to the dash and restart the game.

Yeah, I had this problem... you need to also make sure you got all the guys in the village... then come back and just wait... I think I had to wait like 3min for the Ogre Alpha to show up

I'm having the same problem on xbox 360. I'm gonna be pretty upset if I just played 32 hours of this game just to have it bug right before the end.

There is more than one save slot for a reason
