Jessica Chobot called people entitled and said that people were guilty of a ridiculous whinefest.  Go take a step back and look at things that have happened and been said... over a video game.

It's like spoilt kids or something, i find it really funny how people are legit upset over something.  God knows what would happen if something important happened. 

If you guys put the energy into opposing government policies and things that you do into the ending of a videogame, think of how better the world could be.

Please don't act like you are being any more constructive. From looking at your posts, you have spent a month complaining about complainers. Maybe you haven't, but I just judged you like how you're judging everyone in this thread who doesn't agree with you.

The retake crowd are not what's ruining the community. All is fine until a few overly-hostile instigaters from the pro-ending crowd come in with their insulting flame bait posts.

I've seen a large number of respectful disagreements from those in favor of the ending. But what you're doing is trying to divide people. Maybe you should calm down a little bit. You have a minority opinion. I understand how overwhelming that must feel but there's no need to lash out at everyone who doesn't hold your opinion.

You need to lighten up. Just because he does not like ****** sexuals does not mean his opinion on THIS topic isn't correct. While I don't agree with 'hate speech' either something tells me this guy was likely joking about that earlier comment. Either way, steve cortez is not the topic of discussion here, Jessica Chobot is and he is sharing his opinion on her opinion regardless of how you feel about an earlier comment he made that has nothing to do with this topic. Lighten up.

Chobot should have done the damn research before shooting her mouth (or fingers as she typed it out) off like that because while she is entitled to her opinion it is generally considered polite if you do some research on the issue you are expressing a opinion on.

Because she did not do the research her opinion is considered to be worth less than some one who is equally critical of the retake movement but has actually played the ending and done some research. I am offended (not much but still noticeable) that some one who doesn't understand the issue is insulting me for my opinion when I have not done the same to her.

Jennifer Hale doesn't play the games, and she strikes me as an intelligent, classy person who wouldn't be so crass as to comment on something she knows little about.
Mark Meer on the other hand does play the games, and from what I gather is at least sympathetic to us.

You lost just about any credibility with me when you said the words "Bill O'Reilly." So let's use Bill for example. In many cases Bill is NOT professional in his behavior. When he behaves unprofessionally, that's not undone because he has a profession. Again you keep going back to this idea that professionals only have to have a title or job and that's it.

Jessica chobot is right.  Retake, in their very sigs, demand a new ending.  That is entitlement.  And the way they've gone about it?  That is whining.  Like it or not, her assessment cannot really be argued with.

He was one specific example, the point is, even journalists have a right to their opinion, calling you all whiny and entitled i not the worse thing Jessica could say, and again its an IGN blog, so she has a right to say what she wants in that blog anyway even if there are certain lines journalists cannot cross in normal IGN articles, the blog however would be 'skies the limit'. Yes there are rules and regulations but these days journalists are a bit more forceful in their interviews and opinions then they were in the past and they are allowed to get away with it far more then they've ever been. It is still just their opinion and you are still taking it way to seriously.

I'm not defending his behavior, I am telling you that it's stupid to bring up something said in the past that has nothing to do with this topic, you are being confrontational for no reason, as I said. I do not agree with hate speech talk at all but I'm not going to condemn people for their opininions, nor do I condemn you for yours.
