Of course not, professionals will make whatever statements they feel like they want to make. Stop being entitled and over sensitive.
When you're an actor in a production, you need to be professional about that. When you do an editorial on your own work, especially when you haven't experienced the entire production, it's unprofessional. It's called a conflict of interest, something IGN as a whole has been having.
