The second you see the gun be refilled, you can cancel the animation....... It shortens the Revenant reload time by about 50% lol. I've also succesfully done it with the Black Widow, Mantis, Claymore and a few others, just to make sure it wasn't Revenant exclusive.
I still do not understand how people can complain about long reload times

Once you hear the click, either use spacebar (if you are not standing in front of cover) or melee and shoot. You will fire without having to wait for the reload animation to finish.
